Situated in the heart of Niagara Falls, NY, Niagara Tandoori Hut offers a culinary journey through authentic Indian cuisine, albeit with a few mixed experiences. Undoubtedly, the food at Niagara Tandoori Hut surpasses many of its surrounding Indian counterparts. With a diverse menu featuring aromatic spices and bold flavors, the restaurant delivers an enticing array of dishes that cater to varied palates. From traditional curries to tandoori specialties, there's something to satisfy every craving. While the menu boasts a variety of delectable options, some dishes fall short of perfection. The chicken marsala, for instance, tends to lean towards the drier side, detracting from an otherwise flavorful experience. However, the goat curry shines as an exception, showcasing tender meat infused with rich spices, a true delight for the taste buds. In terms of ambiance, Niagara Tandoori Hut could benefit from improvements in decor. While the atmosphere is welcoming, the aesthetics could use a refresh to enhance the overall dining experience. Additionally, it's worth noting that the pricing at Niagara Tandoori Hut leans towards the higher end, which may not align with everyone's expectations. However, given its location in the tourist hub of Niagara Falls, NY, this may not come as a surprise, as many establishments in the area cater to visitors seeking culinary adventures. In summary, Niagara Tandoori Hut offers a culinary escape into the flavors of India amidst the bustling tourist scene of Niagara Falls, NY. While some dishes may fall short of expectations and the decor could use a facelift, the restaurant's commitment to authentic flavors and diverse menu options makes it a worthwhile stop for those craving Indian cuisine in the area.

This place has a pretty high rating and I expected that it would be a nice place to stop by and eat. Since I’ve been to other Bengali/Indian restaurants and loved the food. However, when I went there last night with my family, our experience was horrible. We got chicken chow mein, chicken biryani, and chicken curry. Let’s talk about the portion and prices first. It sucks. The portions were way too small compared to the price. Each of these dishes were around $20. And I could easily eat two of them myself, and I’m fit, not overweight or obese. Second, the taste, maybe this is how Indian food tastes like, but it was bland and not what I thought it would be. I expected it to be full of flavor and spices. I’ve been to multiple Bengali restaurants and they beat this place in all 3: price, quantity, and taste. Very disappointed. Felt like we wasted money here. Sorry for the harsh review, but it would’ve been fine if the quantity was at least better. However, all 3 is a one star for my experience here. Another thing I observed is how they get frequent reviews. Like almost every two hours. They get more reviews compared to most restaurants in New York City. Heck, they even get more frequent reviews than Niagara Falls State Park! And they’re all 5 star reviews. Maybe that’s why the rating is so high yet the experience was terrible? They’re most likely buying reviews. Well, here’s a REAL review of my experience. You’re welcome. Should’ve made the fake-bought reviews less obvious.

TBH with y'all, I had initial reservations about the food at this restaurant due to its ambiance and appearance, as well as the presentation of the dishes on display. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the food. While I would rate the ambiance a 4 out of 5, the impeccable service provided by the staff, especially the gentleman at the front desk who also happened to be one of the Chefs, exceeded my expectations. He was remarkably polite, courteous, and truly made a positive impression. (Unfortunately, I did not catch his name) Unlike typical buffet, the Samosas often disappoint as they may be ready made or frozen ones but in here it was ultimate. Same goes with Naan, Gulba Jamon and the curries(haven't tried all of it) food was mild and tasty (good for travelers) Overall had great time and my dining experience was delightful. This restaurant offers a pleasant environment to enjoy a meal, and it's a wonderful alternative to the crowded Zaika.

Google should include negative ratings. We four friends went there for dinner two days ago on Aug 03. It was the worst dining experience so far. Only buffet option was available which is Okay. The price was normal for that area but not for the food they served us. No food was pleasing to eye. We were tired like a hell and hungry so decided to eat there whatever it looks. Food options were so less.

Lets start from hospitality: You get thinnest ever disposable paper plates and flimsy plastic spoons that can not hold weight of a spoon full food. If you use two plates someone will come to say you have used two paper plates at a time. You need to clean your table and trash plates on your own if you decide to add food. No one will come to take your dirty paper plates away.

Hall was not air conditioned. There were noisy fans surrounding food that blocked the way to self serve. Nothing looked appetizing. No chutneys for samosas. Believe me, options were less than what we prepare in home when a friend visits our place. No lamb or goat meat. Tandoori chicken was in no way like a tandoori chicken.

We were not sure whether the place we googled is correct. Realizing this, the owner came out, greeted us in our language, asked about our origin and why we were there. Coincidentally he was originally from same district of my country. So we were more tempted to eat there. He knew we were new and dining for the first time in that area.

No one came to ask for any drink. We called the person who seemed to be their staff and asked for some water. We were expecting water in water glass for each of us. We discussed skipping adding ice option if asked. To our surprise he placed three small water bottles for four of us on our table and charged $2 each during checkout. Never asked for number of water bottles and never warned that they are not complementary. We ate some food to keep us alive.

I had no energy to complain but I expressed my disappointment to the owner for costly water bottle. He said we are the cheaptest in ths area and other restaurants charge $3 or more per bottle. We were new so believed him. May be. We stayed one more day and explored the nearby indian restaurants. We were satisfied from all of them. There is literally no compare.

Please respect your hard earned money by skipping this restaurant. The good reviews are not from the real customers I bet. I took a time from my busy schedule just to warn perspective diners. I hate doing this and reviewing saying not to visit some place. Do not confuse it with different nepali restaurant by seeing google photos associated with this restaurant. They...
