We were very excited when we arrived. The young lady who was at the desk seemed very scripted. There wasnât a warm welcome. She told us what we needed to know and that was it! We were thankful they allowed us to check in at 2:30pm. Original check in time was 4pm. |The room was spacious as advertised. We were only three ladies on a girls trip. This room offered three bedroom and 3.5 bathrooms. It advertised sleeps 10. Would be interesting to see how 10 people would watch TV. The living room offers a loveseat, two chairs and a wood coffee table. Very uncomfortable to watch TV. We had intermittent bad weather and were forced to stay in longer than we would have liked, clearly not the hotels fault⌠however being comfortable is. Two of the three rooms didnât offer a luggage rack. Two of us used the only chair available in each room for luggage. |The location is âon the beachâ. Our view had a few homes between us and the beach. Not as advertised. They also show chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Those are what you can rent further up the beach. What this hotel offered you had to carry yourself through a parking lot, to the beach. After check in we went to the beach (yellow flag day from life guard stand). Once we got there we realized our umbrella was broken. It was missing arms and wouldnât stay up.|Full day number 2: (the yellow flag was up) and the hotel wouldnât allow us to sign out chairs. When we originally went to the desk we were inquiring about the towels. The women pointed to the chair book that said âclosedâ on it. Then told us no chairs were available because of tornado watch til 11am. Her rudeness was shocking, considering we were not inquiring about the chairs. This was our very first interaction with her. I got an alert on my phone about tornado watch til 11am. We were well informed! After lunch I pulled up the radar. It was clear the weather was passing on both sides of us. Around 1pm we requested chairs. We were told no chairs because of the weather. There was no weather, no warningsâŚjust intermittent overcast. Again, the flag at the life guard stand was yellow as the day before.|We wound up sitting on towels on the ground. |There was a hotel up the beach all their chairs were out. It was private and unfortunately unless we stayed there we were unable to use them. We were told by the man at the front desk âitâs only for today, one dayâ. I said if I knew they were policing the chairs I would have packed my own considering I drove in. My two friends flew in from NJ. We only had two full days there. First day we arrived and the fourth day we left. So âone dayâ is a big deal considering we only had two full days!|I understand weather and work with it for a living. If they would have taken a second and pulled up the radar they would have seen the storms were skirting by us. That morning it was understandable we even saw a water sprout while sitting in our room. Under no circumstances would we have went out to sit on the beach.|To sum up our stay, this property offers spacious stay. The mattress was comfortable. The option of pillows was really nice to have and it was mostly clean. Unfortunately I had hair in my shower on the wall and the shower curtain, before I even bathed. The âmake up towelâ had something on it. I left it out for them to see when they came to clean, they just put it back dirty into position. My three stars is based on what was offered. Our main objective was to stay in a clean spacious place and to go to the beach. |My suggestion for this place would be to hire people solely to bring the chairs and umbrellas back and forth (set up umbrella into the sand). This is not something we wanted to do and it wasnât advertised that we needed to do it. It definitely took away from the vacation. Being told three grown women had to sit on the ground after paying over $2000 to stay three nights is hard to digest. |Your check out note ask if you would strip the bedsâŚstates it not required but clearly would appreciate it. We paid to have it cleaned! Odd request!|I would suggest to stay in a smaller place that accommodates their guest. |This place has potential. You get the bare minimum. ||* on the last day we came in to check out. I asked the woman at the desk if she had just a cup of water. She told me to go to the vending machine so many floors up. |While waiting Tom came and asked if we needed anything. He gave me a bottle of his personal water. Big...

Read moreWe stayed in this hotel right after thanksgiving for four night. I booked it two months ago on Expedia. This was a huge mistake that the hotel turned out not popular and the price went down dramatically before the trip. My following comments maybe biased due to the overprice I paid. Pros: we booked this hotel because it has a full kitchen. The kitchen worked. Bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. Also internal was first. Cons: We booked the standard ocean view suite which I know is on the lower level (3-4). We got a room on third floor though the hotel is pretty empty. There are a few buildings in between the hotel and the beach, basically we can only see very limited ocean on our balcony with messy buildings in front of us. The appliances are poor. Door of the dish washer did not hold. Washing machine is way too tiny. Fridge makes noise during the night. Bathroom due for remodel. There are also uncomfortable large yellow stains on the bathroom floor. Maybe water marks? We booked the suite because we travel as family. I also clearly wrote how many people are checking in. The hotel didnât honor that. For example, there are only two towels in the bathroom but we have four people. There is no room service but you can only get towels replaced. Every day we only got two towels maybe because we only placed two used outside. I donât understand why itâs so hard to prepare enough towels in the room in the beginning. And only two bottle waters as welcome gift. Resort fee is 35 per day but I donât see anything related except come umbrellas and chairs that you can borrow. This does not make me feel worth it. We didnât use any neither. Parking after tax is about 40 per day. Empty parking lot with meters all around the building though. I asked front desk for disposable slipper on the first night, they donât have it. They opt to use text message to communicate but not the same person behind the screen. They will not read previous message neither. Conflicted information was provided. They keep asking how is your stay but if you request something they have very limited capabilities. They are just asking.
Overall we donât see much people here. The price (plus resort fees and potential parking) is ridiculous high. I will not recommend this place to stay. Maybe you can do it if you find good deals. But I paid more than 600 per day this is totally disappointing. I feel I can find more reasonable service in this town with...
