Go Tiki Tours Clearwater - #1 Floating Tiki Boat — Attraction in Clearwater

Gale was a great captain for our little sunset voyage. He chatted with us about things to do in the area, other cruises that the company offered, and took a ton of pictures for us. He struck me as the type to not say a whole lot if you didn’t chat him up, but that would have been our loss. Gale spotted quite a few dolphins that we would have otherwise missed. We were fortunate to have cooler weather for our cruise and a beautiful sky once the sun set (it didn’t look like it was going to be much, tbh). Even though we live here, this cruise was so enjoyable that I’d keep it on the list to do again because it was just so NICE. Great breeze, we weren’t dying of the heat, and the water wasn’t crowded at all.

The boat itself is mostly taken up by a horseshoe-shaped tiki bar and stools, but there’s space to move around and stand. Bluetooth speaker is available, so create your playlist accordingly! There is a bathroom, should someone need it (but no #2 allowed), and a large Yeti cooler. Gale said the boat takes up to 13, max. Plenty of space for a party, if you ask me! There’s also a sandbar cruise, which offers the opportunity to anchor and do some floating, but the sunset cruise doesn’t offer that.

I had the pleasure of taking a sunset cruise with Stone, and it was truly a fantastic experience. Before the trip, I mentioned that I sometimes get seasick, and he was incredibly accommodating—he made sure to avoid choppy waters, which made for a smooth and comfortable ride the entire time.

Captain Stone was not only personable and easy to talk to, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He shared interesting facts and answered every question I had with patience and enthusiasm. His love for the water and the local surroundings really came through, adding an extra layer of meaning to the cruise.

To top it all off, he even acted as our photographer—snapping beautiful photos at just the right moments so we could focus on enjoying the view. The sunset was absolutely stunning, and thanks to him, we have amazing memories (and pictures!) to look back on.
