Clear Sky has a HUGE menu. Selection varies from seafood to falafil and baba ganoush, from pastas to steaks and filet mignon, from burgers to quesadillas and chimichangas, bruschettas to any possible appetizer. I'm shocked there wasn't sushi on the list :) This may be a pro, if they are good at cooking all of that, yet may be a con, if otherwise; won't be fair to judge this part after a single visit. What I can judge tho, is our own order; starting with Wild Mushroom soup, that had a rich smell and amazing flavor. It was a great start, but then there was Surf & Turf Skewer, description of which was super promising, yet it appeared to be quite ordinary. The very last item ordered was Italian Panini, and it was decent too. Specifically liked that gardiniera in it, its something that fits this sandwich just right.
Location is great, right off the main strip in Clearwater Beach.
Pricing is at about average, considering Clear Sky's location.
Interior is fine, you can tell people look after this place, nothing looked worn. Also, it was super clean inside - no sand, no dust, none of those. For those, who come here early afternoon, like we did, A/C works perfectly, just go inside :)
What I didn't really like, was the service. The lady was never around, at the same time, the table right against me was served by different lady that was running back and forth with drinks and food. Finally, placing the order, I chose fries on the side for a sandwich and then asked what kind of dipping sauces do they offer, the lady surprised a lot and said "What for?" Wrong answer, it should've been "Of course!" First, I just asked for the fries (you may've guessed), second, what difference does it make 'what for'? Now, of course she forgot about it and I had to ask for it again, although when I got it, it wasn't salad dressing in the cup, it was really good! Don't take me wrong, it wasn't worst service ever no, but I would recommend to pay attention to staff.
In general, I liked the place, and considering how much do they offer, I will probably...
Read moreIt would be a 5 but the hostess got up on the wrong side today. The hostess has really thick black glasses, short black hair, and tattoos with one behind her right ear. We’ve been coming here for years, always great service and good food. From our very first interaction with her she was incredibly rude, snobbish and very annoyed and when we finally got seated her behavior was disgusting. She was so quick to run off she hadn’t heard us asking her if the seat can be wiped down. My husband walked over to her and asked her nicely if it can be cleaned. The hostess made an attempt at wiping the seat but it still had a big stain and the moment she was told it still needed to be wiped a little bit more she became extremely irritated and snobby to the point where she started mocking, being passive aggressive and rude to our 70 yo mother. Our mother even said I can wipe it if you give me the rag and that seemed to bother the host even more. As she turned to walk away she shook her hands off, said oh my god and proceeded to run to the supervisor on duty. She continued to complain about us, even pointing at our table. Extremely uncomfortable and uncalled for. We spoke to the manager and he apologized on her behalf but it didn’t stop the hostess from continuing to give us uncomfortable glares for the entire time we were there. Oh, and most people wait to sit inside because they prefer or need ac. I happen to be disabled and NEED to be in an aced environment. There is no reason why the hostess kept propping the door to stay open. It was extremely humid, sticky inside and hard to breathe to the point that I had to leave my family and wait for them in the car. The only pleasant experience we had was Ariel; she was delightful and polite. If you’re so irritated and can’t stand to be around people maybe working on a restaurant isn’t the...
Read moreI had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant when I went with a family members. We ordered the mushroom soup, pizza, wings, burger, and the parmesan cauliflower steak with pasta — and every single dish was absolutely phenomenal. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the quality truly exceeded our expectations.
The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The live music outside added a beautiful touch — not too loud, just enough to enhance the overall experience.
One of the things I really appreciated is that the location is fully wheelchair accessible. There are no steps at the entrance, and the doorway is wide enough to accommodate any wheelchair comfortably. It made getting in and out smooth and stress-free, which is something I don’t take for granted.
I was lucky to have Stephanie as my server, and she was outstanding. So sweet, attentive, and accommodating. She kindly moved a chair to make space for my wheelchair and made sure I had vegetarian options, even helping to adjust and cancel ingredients to meet my dietary needs. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness really stood out.
Everything was also impressively clean — from the plates and silverware to the entire dining area. It’s clear they care about quality in every aspect.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. It has definitely going to be one of my favorite go-to spots whenever I’m on vacation. Amazing food, top-tier service, great accessibility, and a peaceful, enjoyable vibe — what more...
