Sleep Number — Hotel in Coralville

I purchased my sleep number in Feb 2024. The sales experience was fantastic. I was reassured good sleep and easy warranty. HOWEVER... scheduling was awful. They didn't show up, then had to reschedule for 2 weeks later. Installers were great once they got there.

Fast forward to today....My bed just stopped working. I did trouble shooting on the chat and they did a diagnostic and found the issue was the "brain". I was then advised I needed to pay $190 for the "professional techs" to come out and fix it. They were there less than 5 mins to advised the same information. Now I pay 35% of the part plus shipping and taxes so $300ish, then another $190 for them to come install it. (You just plug it all in)

No one cares that I have been now 2 weeks with a bed that is non functional, no one cares that I was reassured when I bought this bed that I had a "15 year warranty" parts and labor. No one cares...no one cares that the part is a "Manufacture defect" and I am now responsible for 35% of a manufacture issue just 16 months after purchasing a $6000 bed. No one cares.

I of course have to pay for it because my bed is non functional and I am stuck bc I invested so much into such a "great product" (that has failed just 16 months after purchase). So I order the part and then was advised it would be 5 days to ship and standard shipping from their warehouse.

This has been the worse experience I have ever had and a huge scam! The bed was decent when it worked but to be honest I would 100% not recommend to anyone. It truly is a SCAM and...

I had mold in various places on my foam in my old sleep number bed. I asked them what changes they had made to ensure this would not happen again if I bought a new bed. They said they would call the company and let me know. No one called me back after numerous phone calls to them. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I don't think they have an answer, so the problem is not fixed. Will avoid ever buying a sleep number bed again, and thevemployees at the Coralville store are not the least bit helpful. I would suggest you do the same! Terrible company all...

An amazing experience with sleep number! The guy who sold us the bed at the store made the shopping super fun and didn’t put any pressure on us to buy anything. The delivery guys William and Cody were very nice and helpful. They had nothing but good things to say and gave me some great tips for the bed! When I asked if they both had a sleep number they said yes, talk about representing the company! They were very professional and fast! Will definitely be recommending sleep number to all...
