H&M — Local services in Culver City

Worst shopping experience I have ever had in my 49 years of living. My daughter and I waited in line and when it was our turn, walked up to the counter. The cashier offered no greeting. My daughter smiled and said "Hello" and the cashier looked at her with expressionless eyes and aggressively replied, "Is something wrong with the item?", which obviously took me aback. We've never had a bad experience in any H&M or H&M outlet store, this was the first. She was extremely rude in her temperament which caused me to say "Are you serious right now? No greeting. My daughter said hello and you didn't say anything back", to which she replied, "Do you really want to do this right now?" which stunned me and I responded "No" and she responded with, "then stay silent". I was flabbergasted and immediately asked to speak to the manager. The cashier then irritatedly yelled for her manager, Bertha, to come over, who was equally unpleasant and really didn't seem to care how her employee had been talking. She simply reassigned her to work elsewhere and finished our transaction. Truly disgusted by the entire experience. Will not go back to that...

Very lovely store. However, when I went to try on this dress, no one assisted me. I assisted myself into a dressing room. The cashier that checked us out was a little rude. I complimented her and she just stared at me. There was only one cashier. There are no restrooms inside so the closest one is upstairs at the Target. Also once we purchased our belongings, we had to wait longer because our receipt was printed without a barcode, making it impossible to return the items. There was someone to help us instantly. I left the store feeling disrespected. After I tried on some clothes, I went up to the fitting room counter and as I was slowly and carefully placing the hangers on the table and sorting out the clothes that I was going to buy, the girl attendant with glasses was watching me with an annoyed look on her face. She said all I had to do was place the clothes and hangers on the table; as if she were lecturing me. I guess she's not used to people showing her courtesy or maybe she was just prejudiced because I am Asian.
