TWO WORDS: BED BUGS. If I could give this hotel a rating of 0 stars, I would in an instant. My experience at this Hyatt House couldn't be described as anything less than absolutely HORRIBLE and provided the worst hotel experience I have ever endured. As a salesman who travels frequently for work I am constantly in hotels but until my trip down to PA, I was lucky enough to never deal with the horrors stories I have heard from my colleagues. After checking in and walking to our "suite" my co-worker and I were immediately overcame with the smell of mold and total uncleanliness. The drawers of the kitchenette were extremely dirty (crumbs, dirt, and pet hair) and the entire space seemingly had been cleaned by employees who spent only seconds in the room. As we went to unpack our bags, my co-worker came out of his room with what was clearly an unfed but full grown beg bug ( see picture) which he saw on the corner of his bed. Not knowing how to handle the disgust we felt knowing this is where we were to sleep, we went down to the front desk to show the manager first hand what we have found within seconds of being in our room. The attendant at the front desk apologized for what we have found in plain sight and we were quickly switched to another room on the same floor down the hall. Now my co-worker and myself feeling doubtful that this room was going to be cleaned properly, we opened the door to the overpowering smell of cleaning products which we believed to be a good thing.... we couldnt have been more wrong. We stripped the bed to see pen size dots all along the seams of the bed. After a few minutes on the internet these markings were quickly identified as the "droppings" or feces of bed bugs. my RECOMMENDATION if you are forced to stay here: strip the covers and make sure to look at your mattress before sleeping and bringing these horrible insects back to your true home as they will get on your clothing and in your bags. Feeling completely disgusted and only a few hours to sleep before some very important meetings the next morning, my colleague and myself made the choice to sleep in our rental car in the parking lot to make sure we did not bring bed bugs to our homes once the day was done. This is a horror story that I could not make up if I tried to and I am not one to write reviews but felt its my responsibility to share my experience to anyone who might be looking to book here. The last thing I would like to point out is very few states have laws to protect hotel goers from bed bugs so any hotel management that does not take it upon themselves to make sure the hotel is completely clear of bed bugs, you are likely going to be feeling like a swarm of mosquitoes had bit you the night before and will be calling the exterminator to your own home within days of getting back from traveling. FOR ANYONE HAS READ THIS, YOU ARE BETTER OFF IN YOUR CAR IN A PARKING LOT LIKE MYSELF OVER A ROOM AT THE HYATT HOUSE.

A conundrum of a property as the outside looks fairly well-kept, but the interior is pretty worn-down. Stayed one Saturday night for $175 in a King "Suite" room (all rooms are some variation of a suite). Checked in at 5p, lobby was rather dirty and walls variously scratched. Cookie box was empty. :-( Note: Checking in requires initialling and signing a substantial "I promise not to do x, y, z or agree to pay a penalty fee" form with a $50 deposit. That's usually a sign of a spring-break hotel that commonly caters to parties and wild guests, so be warned if you are a private couple. Walking through the hallways you'll continue to find dirt and serious need of vacuuming and scrubbing. On the fourth floor hallway there is a bleach stain (likely from a party foul mishap). Spring-break hotel vibes continue. Entering our assigned room on the 4th floor (hotel was sold out), the room was quite musty and the air humid despite the running AC. Came back 4 hours later around 10p and still very musty. The carpeting was so sticky we felt compelled to wear shoes even in the bedroom. Multiple mystery wet spots dot the carpeting throughout the room (yuck). Bathroom has tile (sink room with a door to the toilet/shower), but the counter and drawers are fairly beat up, the toilet low to the ground with a loose seat that kept moving. The shower head looked new and the shower stall decent, but the towel rack in the shower was literally hanging by a single screw (needs reanchoring). Some missing bath hardware such as a broken towel hook, but the most egregious was a waterlogged wall with various kinds of mold growing (pic included in this review). More yuck. The mattress was comfortable and good quality, though the pillows were 4 mixed brand/type of standard-size on a king size bed (e.g. one felt like down, one felt like foam, another was flat, and the fourth super firm). Overall, the experience (service and room) was under many roadside truck stops, despite packaged as a mid-tier hotel. Before committing to this review, we attempted to share our experience with the front desk in the morning, but waiting for 15 minutes around 8:50a we couldn't track anyone down at the front desk. As such, we left our key in the drop box and moved on.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the conditions of the hotel, which were far from what I expected for a so-called "luxury suite" and the rate I was charged. We booked what was described as a "luxury suite," but the room was nowhere near the standard of even a 2-star hotel. The suite was in abysmal condition. Upon entering, we immediately noticed several issues, including: Cleanliness: The linens had clearly not been changed from the previous guest and were visibly dirty. There were stains and other marks on the bedding and towels. The floors and carpets were equally filthy, and we found bugs in the room. Condition: The walls and doors were chipped and in disrepair, giving the impression of an abandoned room. The overall appearance was that of a poorly maintained, rundown space. Odor: Both the hallway and our suite had an overpowering, unpleasant smell. The hotel had placed a large fan in the hallway to try to mask the odor, but this only made the situation worse. Our room became filled with a strong, chemical smell that resembled pesticides. My baby was coughing throughout the night, unable to sleep due to the noxious fumes. Due to these unbearable conditions, we were forced to check out early and find alternative accommodations the very next day. The poor state of the room, combined with the lack of attention to guest needs, ruined what should have been a relaxing stay. We ended up leaving after just one night, despite having booked for multiple nights. I must also point out that I paid nearly $400 per night, which is an outrageous amount given the poor quality and substandard facilities of the hotel. I would not rate this hotel with even a single star, and the experience was an absolute disappointment. This stay was not only unacceptable but has left me questioning how such conditions are allowed to persist in a hotel that claims to offer luxury accommodations. I would definitely claim to get a refund for the terible one night we stayed over there.

The worst Hyatt hotel I've ever stayed at. As a global traveler, I frequent many Hyatt properties. I strongly urge all professional and personal guests/travelers against investing in this property by staying there. Save your money and find another location that maintains their property. An absolute nightmare for a guest.

Upon check in I informed the front desk staff of the following:

Both toilets had severe cracks with mold around them (See pictures) Stains everywhere on the carpet (if you can't spot treat a stain, are you even cleaning the carpets from prior guests?) Holes on several corners of the walls Air filter completely clogged, date on filter was May 2022, I checked in September 2022. After waiting 4 days after check in, the filter was changed. After it was changed, the filter vent was disgusting from all of the gunk that had dropped and they just changed the filter and left it for me to clean the dirt that went everywhere. No phone in the room, I had to call the front desk through my cell phone for every item I needed or simple housekeeping questions. They brought in a phone, and then told me there was no dial tone. I waited 2 weeks and never got that fixed. After a few days of staying, the back security door appeared to have been tampered with and the door lock had been removed. The door for the back of the hotel was then left open, posing a huge security risk, as anyone could walk right into the corridor for the back entrance to the hotel and right into guest quarters. I notified the front desk immediately, after 8 days it still was not fixed. This is an unacceptable safety concern. Shower curtain in the second bathroom covered in mold, clearly never washed or cleaned.

The front line staff is not at fault here, every time I raised a concern again for unaddressed items, they stated they escalated this to management and the engineers for the property. Clearly the property management team doesn't understand the industry standard for maintaining guest cleanliness and safety at this property. After these issues went without resolution for 2 weeks, I found a separate hotel and checked out right away.

When I was showed another room to potential move too, I walked in and noticed that it was the same condition, stains all on the floor, toilets cracked and a horrible smell coming from the carpets. Hyatt Hotel Corporation should immediately step in as this property is ruining the brand. Hire more staff to assist the engineers and front line service workers and get this hotel fixed and safe for your guests before you risk a...

Absolutely disappointed! I should have known when I tried to make reservations online and I was having trouble that this wasn’t going to be good. My boss and I called to make the reservation the lady on the phone never confirmed the reservation after my boss gave her credit card information we got an email confirmation with the wrong dates so I had to call them back and get that fixed. Before we got off the phone we asked the lady if we would need the card for check in because my boss wasn’t coming with us she was only making the reservation. The lady replied no we will use the card on file and the person checking in will need a credit card for incidentals. When we get there to check in the person at the front desk asked for a credit card. I gave him the credit card and then I asked I just want to make sure that’s only for incidentals. He responded with glad you told me after I ran the card and it’s been approved! You’re kidding me right? Why wasn’t the card on file used!!!? Well that was a big deal and he acted like he didn’t even know if my credit card would be refunded the amount for the room!? I told him what the lady said on the phone and he proceeded to tell me well idk what you’re talking about because all of the information is incorrect..... fast forward my co worker and I get into our room and found a bug in the bathroom then we found an ant on the wall in the kitchen and a spider! We called the next day to let them know we found bugs in our room a guy answered and said oh my gosh housekeeping must have had the windows opened while cleaning. We will have to spray for you! Well they never came up to spray that evening not sure if they ever did because all 5 days we were there we found a bug! Housekeeping didn’t restock the coffee in our room and they didn’t restock any soap in my bathroom the 2nd day there. We had a 2 bedroom suite and they only had a very small trash can in the kitchen not a huge deal but something they should look into upgrading! The hallways smelt horrible and when we checked out we got a receipt for our records well the amount they charged my credit card for the week was different from what they charged my work card which makes no sense. I will be sure to tell my company the next time I travel I will not be staying at a Hyatt. I will gladly pay for my own hotel if...
