Came back 8 months after my review and I can report the food is still just as good. The chicken sandwich was super fresh, the breading was crispy the chicken inside juicy. The pretzel buns were just as good at the first time they held up very well even with sandwiches that were slathered in sauce.
First impressions were very intriguing. The inside decor was modern and fresh. I came souly because of the pictures of the interior. The benches were as comfortable as I thought they would be.
We were welcomed the moment we walked in. Everyone was inviting and courteous.
I ordered a bacon hamburger, bacon cheese fries, jumbo chicken tenders, a milkshake and a smoothie. The vanilla milkshake was thick but also able to be consumed without a straw, and was made with a higher quality icecream. The bacon cheese fries were just to my taste. Thick pices of actual bacon with cheese wizz. The fries were cut thick with skin on. I ordered a strawberry smoothie and while it was decent, it was more on the tart side than the sweet side. Which my husband loved. I ordered my hamburger with a pretzel bun which withstood the buger and bacon without getting overly soggy. The jumbo chicken tenders had a unique breading, you could cut the chicken with a plastic fork that's how tender it was.
My husband also enjoyed his burger, breakfast wrap, and fries.
Overall we are quite happy with our experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place for...
Read moreToday we stopped by to check out their famous Philly burger. They have a family option for $20 and up but you only can get a standard burger NO EXTRAS so if you prefer to have pickles, Mayo, onions you would have to order everything separately in which each sandwich it is about $7-10.50. The family meals does not offer chicken sandwiches and you absolutely CAN NOT mix and match. As told my the GM the deals are so great they don’t offer nothing else but what they give you. We ordered Grilled Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (3), Crispy Chickens with Bacon (4), Original Cispy Chicken with onions which was a bit salty (3) and their Famous Philly Burger on pretzel bun (3)with Fries (3). The Philly Burger came on a pretzel bun which is a thumbs down for us Philly residents. Overall the sandwich was good. The chicken is fried fresh which makes you appreciate their esthetic. Although there was some miscommunication between us and the staff when asking questions about the menu but we got it all figured out and smooth sailing from there. The food was good, If you happen to be in the neighborhood, check them...
Read moreBoth me my friend ordered a salad. I thought both were just fine. I spent $18 for a salad and a smoothie which seemed like a lot, but considering you get fresh, hot chicken, i guess its better than say Salad works? The containers they serve them in are way too small to be able to mix all the ingredients together once you put the dressing on. It was nice that your dressing came separate however. I added chicken to the Village salad and at first it didn't come out with chicken, but the staff quickly fixed it - had to wait about 5 minutes for them to grill a fresh piece. I didn't think though that the mix of ingredients on the salad was well proportioned. For instance if they give you a quarter cup of goat cheese, I don't also need a quarter cup of sunflower seeds. The entire salad just ended up being completely coated in sunflower seeds, which was way too much. Same thing with the walnuts. This salad could have used something else fresh like green Apple or maybe something sweet like dried cranberries though. The restaurant was clean, and it smelled good, so I might go back for a burger at some point...
