Ordered Bamboo via Uber eats only to receive the completely wrong thing. The menu online just said orange chicken and on the receipt when delivered it was “L3 Orange chicken”. To my dismay this is not what was ordered however the man answering the phone on 6/5 said that it’s not his fault we couldn’t read the menu. It was insulting, disrespectful and downright rude. I’ve seen the comments on here about how RUDE they are and I’ve always ignored it and killed them with kindness until now. On my uber order I asked for steam mixed veggie no mushroom and what arrived was veggies with a beef that smelled disgusting. When i asked the man if i could bring them back and get this correct his response was well that would be a whole new order because i would waste the food so you’d be charged. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WRONG PER MY RECEIPT I DIDNT WANT BEEF. Our general tso tofu was completely missing and in place was 4 containers of white rice. Not only that but they offered to redeliver just the general tso tofu because that was missing all together. And when they left it, they DID NOT EVEN CALL US. It has been sitting outside only for us to find it when we took our dog out. I am so angry and have spent a loooottt of money here over the years. I can promise you every business I know will know how Bamboo does business and treats people.
Edit: 7/26 still the most appalling and upsetting experience I’ve had with a restaurant. No one from management has reached out however, it looks like there are many negative reviews within the last...
Read moreWe wanted to try a Chinese buffet and this came up in a Google search.
Well.. No buffet. Maybe pre-covid, but site wasn't updated.
It was Sat night so you think would be poppin around 6:30ish.
It was dead. No one was there. That should have been an ominous sign right there. Lot's of take out. OK, so we venture in and look at the menu.
Peking duck. Out of stock. Green tea. Nope... Brown rice. Try again...
What type of fish? Only tilapia...
So we ordered an appetizer, a noodle, a chicken and vegetable dish. What possibly could go wrong??
The beef Lo-Mein was very good. Not greasy or over cooked. We wolfed that down within minutes.
Then came the chicken. Somewhat spicy, but again well cooked.
Then came the vegetable dish. Cooked in a brown sauce. Bad. Bad. Bad. Should have been cooked in a light sauce. Why mask the fresh flavors??
And then the appetizer - Chicken wraps or that's what we thought we ordered. Over cooked and mushy. Not even sure what it was.
Total bill -$50.
Not sure why people like the food here. Maybe there are select dishes we should have ordered. Oh well, we'll never know because we're not...
Read moreIf you're craving bold, spicy, and deeply flavorful Chinese food, this place is an absolute gem. Every dish bursts with the authentic, numbing heat of Sichuan peppercorns and the perfect balance of savory, smoky, and aromatic notes.
We started with the Chongqing spicy chicken—crispy, fiery, and addictively good. The mapo tofu was silky and rich with just the right amount of heat, and the dry-fried green beans were perfectly blistered and seasoned. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh and high quality—you can tell they care about what goes into each dish.
Presentation was another highlight. Every plate was vibrant, colorful, and thoughtfully arranged. The dishes came out steaming hot, beautifully garnished, and inviting from the very first glance. It’s clear they put effort into not just the flavors, but also the visual experience.
The service was warm and efficient, and the ambiance felt cozy yet vibrant—like a local spot straight from Chengdu. If you’re a fan of real Sichuan cooking (or curious to try it), this place delivers an unforgettable culinary experience. Highly...
