I requested from the start a clean, quiet room with good air conditioning to provide a comfortable stay while there for business. First room (240) had an air conditioner that had a loud “Howling’ noise when compressor kicked on. So, requested a change for a room nearby to avoid long distance move. Second room, across hall was room 237. This room upon entry smelled a little “Funky”. Air conditioner was better...so ignored that weird smell. However next day (Monday) at around 9:00 AM, my room started to VIBRATE! Since I had to study in room during the day...it was awful. I tolerated it throughout the day, and noticed it stopped around 3:30PM. So, that afternoon I complained...I was told that my room was above the Laundry room with Industrial size machines used by Housekeeping...used to launder all the necessary things for the rooms. I then requested yesterday another room, and was given room 102. I was hopeful this longer move away would give me peace and quiet during the day. Upon entering that room....and turning the light on in the bathroom, I noticed four Cockroaches running about on the floor near the toilet. I was able to grab a tissue to kill three...but the fourth escaped me! I immediately went down to the front desk and displayed my tissue containing the dead Roaches. I was told “Oh, those are from outside”! I said “I don’t care where they were born or lived, they were not welcome in my room”! So, one final room on my forth day there was room 207. It had no bugs (Seen), smelled “OK”, but had an Air Conditioner that would not run nonstop as I requested. I called Engineering to com to my room, and had a difficult time communicating with this person. He told me (?) that I shouldn’t use the controls on the Air Conditioner...just the Thermostat on the wall.....then reversed his decision. The air conditioner was never fixed such that it wouldn’t continually cycle on and off....so I discovered there are switches that the hotel uses to control the A/C “Their Way”, and not yours! This might be a “Green” driven idea....but not one that helped me have a comfortable stay! I hope this provides enough information for you to make a...

Read moreI stayed at this location for 21 days for business. My company has a corporate account with this chain of hotels. My first issue is when I went down stairs get clean towels. When it came down to the wash cloths the front desk attendant had the nerve to give me cleaning cloths of the maid cart and thought that was ok. When I refused to take them then she brought me out dish cloth to clean dish. I was livid!!! So I took pictures to make sure her supervisor knew what she attempted to give me. I left with my dirty towels back to my room. Still upset returned downstairs to speak to the supervisor that was not there earlier. I was told the supervisor would not be available till 11:00pm and I could return then. Well I felt should not have to wait and wanted someone to be called now .They refused quoting "this is not and emergency " and I felt it was. They also noted that someone else came to get washcloths after me and took what she attempted to give me. That does not make it right. They should I refused them as well.
Returned the next morning before going to work and was told the person was new and did not know where the clean towels were. That's no excused how can you train someone new and not tell them how to accommodate customers after hours. I was give 5000 points for my inconvenience, but it still is bothering me.
I also felt since I stayed so long I should not have to pay for coffee to prepared in my room. Yes I know it was only .50 a pack but it's the principle.
Last but not least on weekend when I was in my room I could feel the washing machines spinning. They should of know, because of my long stay not to put me over the laundry room. At that point I did not feel like moving and just left the room until...
