The regular lasagna pizza was very good!!! I initially ordered it through Uber Eats. the seasoned fries I would not order again for delivery it may taste better fresh dining in at the restaurant otherwise I wouldn't get them to go. I drove there for pickup myself the next day and ordered the Sicilian deep dish lasagna to try that version as well. I did not like that the same. first of all when I placed the order I asked the lady does this NOT have meat on it she said yes it comes with hamburger and I asked that because I had to add the topping to the previous day's regular lasagna pizza. So when I picked up the order it looked like regular cheese pizza when I opened it in the car so I took it back in and I said I thought you said this comes with hamburger. She said yes its mixed in with the sauce ... it's a meat sauce. (Hangs head low) To me ...this is a pizza place... One would think if someone's asking does this have meat on it that they mean is there a meat topping on the pizza... at least that's what I'm thinking in my head but maybe I'm the one in the wrong! That was a bit disappointing but whatever. Now I know. So beware the Sicilian is a bit dry for my liking because the crust is much thicker. I also ordered spaghetti and meat sauce with mushrooms and that was decent I've had better but it's not bad.Update 2weeks later. I went back and tried the COMBO DISH this time. Very good! UPDATE i visited this place again in December 2017 and got regular lasagna pizza again. This time it wasn't as good. Different cook i suppose was the issue. It was one of those rainy busy days so maybe they werent taking their usual care with the quality. It was dry for one... so not enough ricotta and the meat was different this time too. It had the small beef balls like in the picture from my very first time and then more larger odd ball sized ones like they pinched them off and rolled them by hand to put on my meal i guess. I looked at it before leaving and frowned. Iaccepted the pizza because although the presentation looked terrible i just hoped the taste would be the same. Sadly it wasn't. I'll give them the benefit and try them once more cause that first lasagna pizza was just that good.UPDATE SEPTEMBER 20. Went today for the regular lasagna pizza. It was made slightly different but still good ive added a new picture HOWEVER i was mad with trying to place my pick up order. having been on hold for15 minutes on my desk phone i finally called from my cell phone and instead of being asked to hold thinking maybe my desk line would finally be answered no sure said how i can help you...i told the lady I'd been holding for15 minutes on another line she just apologized apparently she forgot i was even holding on the other line. That was upsetting. Who knows who else got their order taken before me before i decided to act like someone else calling...
Read moreI have been ordering food from this establishment for many years. It saddens me their customer service and food quality has slowly diminished since the new owners took over in the last 6 months or so. Tonight was the last straw though for me... I tried to order on line and the links would not connect for me to complete my order so I decided to call in the order and was told they were too busy to do any more deliveries and I could pick it up. I asked to speak to the manager as I felt they needed to understand they were going to lose a long time customer and I am sure I am not the only one that has seen what I have seen. The manager told me they were short a driver and were behind on deliveries and it was close to the cut off time anyway. I then let her know I would have ordered 20 minutes sooner but could not complete my order on line (even calling in I still had an additional 15 minutes till the scheduled time). She then wanted to deliver all kinds of other reasons they could not commit to a customer during THEIR scheduled hours including the fact they send their cook home at least 15 minutes before close of business. Maybe I'm just a little crazy but shouldn't your cook (duh you're a restaurant) stay during all of business hours? To that response I asked why the cook would leave before close of business. I did not receive a reply as she hung up on me... If you don't want to fulfill orders at that time then close earlier!!! Its not the customers fault or problem you are short-handed. If you show your employees the same level of commitment you show your customers it’s no wonder you are short-handed. Maybe you should step in and help when short-handed instead of being rude and turning...
Read moreWe've ordered from here multiple times and it's usually pretty good. GrubHub brought our order like usual, but the pasta I'd ordered was extremely sticky and gummy. I tried adding some of the extra Alfredo sauce I'd ordered, thinking maybe it was just a little drier than usual, but that didn't help - it really just made the ball of pasta I had a little bit bigger. The flavor was decent, but texture-wise, it was a little bit like chewing glue.
No big deal, I understand it happens sometimes. So when I took it back to the restaurant, I was a little 'put off' when the response from the man behind the counter was a mild laugh. He let me know that he, of course, couldn't give me a refund because HE got HIS money from GrubHub at the end of the month, and that I'd have to call THEM. In hindsight, I maybe could have asked him to just replace it. I'm not sure if it would have done any good, though, since basically, 'it just wasn't his problem'.
What I DID wind up doing, was ask him to throw it away for me, then changed my mind. I used the trash can next to the counter that I'd just noticed, said something like "Okay, thank you", and started to leave. As I left, he kept telling me how the restaurant got paid by GrubHub, I needed to talk to them, oh, and as I was getting to the front door, that the problem was that I just "needed to understand how technology...
