Couldn’t pay me to stay here again. There are plenty of hotels nearby. Find one of those. Told the staff we had something gross on the bathroom floor - possibly poop, and I am not kidding - when we checked in and asked to have it mopped up. We were told they’d clean our room the next day. We had to push to get it cleaned up immediately and they did finally agree. Breakfast? Pfft. It’s a small bag of a basically a muffin and juice and you get grief asking the staff to give you a bag, of which you get one bag only. Our friend who was also staying here in another room asked to use the bathroom in the lobby, which was locked. She was told it was out of order. An employee used it minutes later, so they lied to our friend for no reason other than being too lazy to unlock it. There is a TV in the lobby, but don’t dare ask them to turn it on. A big game was on while we were here (college football semifinal) and we wanted a more comfortable spot than our room to watch as a group of four. Apparently, it’s a “bad look” to guest's checking in, so that was shot down. As far as our room, including the possible poop on the floor, we had minor other issues. The outlet for the cable to the TV was not screwed in and just hanging. The remote was missing the cover for the batteries, and the shower curtain rod was barely hanging on and the shower curtain tracked to the middle of the bar allowing the water to get all over the floor when showering. Sure, maybe minor stuff to complain about, but it shows the lack of care and demonstrates the quality of hotel you’d be booking. In fairness, our friends didn’t have as many issues with their room. They only had a light not working. We would have asked for another room possibly, but we wanted adjacent rooms, so moving would have ruined that. The location is fairly convenient. I can admit that. Otherwise, if a tired, old hotel with staff that can’t be bothered to help with simple things is your thing, you’ve found your spot. The girl during the day was very nice and mostly helpful. Anybody else we talked to was not. 100 percent stay elsewhere.

American Airlines put me up here for the night after a mechanical issue caused me to miss my connection. I called from the airport and was told 20 minutes to pick up. It was closer to 45. I noticed the shuttle had several warning lights on the dash - service engine and tire pressure included. The shuttle driver, Marcus, was really kind and funny. Thank you fellow reviewers, I did a thorough search for evidence of bed bugs and found my room clean. My room did not have a security lock. When I brought this up to the front desk staff they said "don't worry, we have cameras in the hall." Tip - the nightstand plus a trash can on its side will physically lock the door from the inside. Did I hear someone trying to get into my room during the night? Yep. Probably an innocent mistake but wow I'm glad I didn't find out for sure. The bed pillow situation is odd - six throw pillows and no proper pillows. Thankfully the room a/c worked. The rooms have a TV, a desk with no chair, a mini fridge, and a microwave. They came with two sets of towels and soap, shampoo, and lotion minis. Between the freeway and the airport the rooms are loud. The windows are not sound proof. The breakfast and hot water for tea are by request only. Options included a crunchy or soft muffin or yogurt.
idk lolidk lol
There are many things wrong with this place. Immediately upon entering, the entire hotel has a weird "old" smell. This was in the lobby and rooms specifically, but ESPECIALLY in the hallway. I say "rooms" plural, because despite the weirdly late check in time of 3 o'clock, they gave us a room that wasn't clean, with both trash and an unmade bed there. Despite seeming a bit innatentive, the front clerk did get us another room, but that one still smelled like someone had smoked in it despite the premesis being very clearly labeled as non-smoking. Most of the furniture is all old and slightly damaged and the shower spews water from both the shower head and spigot regardless of what you set it to all the while sounding like some sort of large bird is being tortured in the next room. The parking lot is incredibly steep, and would be very accident prone if there were actually people here. We stayed at a "Sonesta Select" close to downtown Dallas for a slightly higher price a few days prior, and we highly regret not just spending the extra and staying there the last couple of days. I'm currently writing this from the hotel room.

The “free shuttle to the hotel” from the airport never showed up, after a 50 minute wait (and 2 phone calls) a worker showed up in their personal vehicle (car seat, personal items, and all) to get us. Weirdest experience ever. I don’t believe there was shuttle of any kind as we never saw one on the property.

We arrived at the hotel to a paper sign stating that it is under a “remodel.” I think it’s an excuse to explain how out dated this place is. At least the staff were nice (unfortunately there seemed to be a language barrier).

As we were attempting to check in, a seedy individual who was not a registered guest was trying to get a new room key (scary) and doing their laundry. We got charged to check in early with no option just to leave our bags and wait for check in time.

When we got to our room there was an over powering smell of air fresher, I never could find where it was coming from. Upon examination of the room it appeared someone kicked in the door at some point as the molding around the door was recently (poorly) nailed back on. After we opened the cabinet next to the fridge we found it rotten and broken (gross). The shower was clean, but the tiled floor and grout was not. I always wore my socks. There were cigarette burn holes in the blankets and bed cover (we were in a non smoking room). In the bright side, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was equipped with Direct TV so that was nice at least.

There is no working vending machine but there is a soda machine (can for a $1), and “breakfast” should be considered false advertisement. As we left our room to get ice, some more seedy individuals opened their door at the same time. Out came an overwhelming smell of marijuana and a cloud of smoke. Wow. The front door/entrance to the hotel did not lock at a certain time of the night despite a sign stating you needed your room key. Anyone and everyone could walk in. The front desk was not manned 24/7 so this was concerning.

We have never been to Dallas and had no idea where a good place was to stay. I guess we chose a hotel that attracted people involved in illegal activities. Will not be returning, not sure we will ever stay in a...

If I could rate with no stars, I would... I travel a lot and have missed flights many times and needed a hotel. Sadly, never have I received service like this. My husband and I missed our connecting flight due to weather. We used our aa miles to book this hotel, as it was in aa's network. I called prior saying we were going to be checking in tonight, and asked if there was shuttle service the next morning. The front desk manager confirmed yes. Upon arrival after midnight, tired and looking very forward to a good night's rest, we walked up to get our room key. The front desk manager from the beginning, was very unprofessional and far from courteous. He wouldn't even get up from his chair around the corning to talk to us until we kept insisting we'd booked a room here. He kept responding shortly with "no, there aren't any rooms available so you messed up and couldn't possibly have booked one" despite me showing him the email reservation. We tried for a while, then sat down in the lobby, frustrated from trying. We decided to just wait there for 5hrs until the shuttle started and would head back to the airport. After a couple hours, one of the upper managers came in. Seeing us but not talking to us, made a gesture to the front desk manager, mumbled something and left. After that, fd manager grumbled that he'd already let us stay 2hrs and we couldn't wait in the lobby anymore. I again asked about our reservation and how we might be compensated. "You'll have to deal with AA for that. You can't have a room and it's their issue." (I literally called AA right then about the reservation. They called and talked to him but couldn't change things.) He also literally lied to us that the shuttle actually wouldn't be going in the morning anyway. We took a Lyft back to the airport and spent the rest of the night there. This poor care for customers, rude communication, and lack of professionalism is truly saddening. Don't book here if you want to enjoy your stay! (6 police officers were called in for commotion upstairs while we were...
