I pulled this spot up on Google after an early flight into DFW from Charlotte, NC. The atmosphere was good and my server was pretty good. The issue I had was with the food. Eggs are eggs, bacon is bacon, etc. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash Skillet. I specifically asked Monica to ask the kitchen if the hash was made fresh, in house. Canned or prepackaged corned beef hash makes me sick. If it wasn’t, it’s fine I would’ve ordered something else. She returned stating the kitchen said yes it’s made in house so I ordered it. After about 3 bites I could tell that it wasn’t. Not to mention they barely put any hash on the skillet and covered it with peppers and cheese with attempts to camouflage it. I scraped the remaining hash off and finished the potatoes and eggs. I told Monica I would like to speak to the manager about it and she replied with “sure, I’ll let her know”. Suddenly a gentleman appeared wearing a hat and apron as if he worked in the kitchen to explain that the corned beef hash wasn’t from the can but from a plastic package that is shipped to them. After expressing to him that I felt mislead about what I ordered and the affects it would have on me he apologized and that was it. No concern for an allergy or that I was lead to believe I ordered something different. Monica then came back with my ticket that I paid the full amount for and still left a tip. The manager never came to address my concerns and continued to walk busily around the restaurant avoiding me. Customer service is a big deal to me and given the nature of the restaurant industry post-Covid, you have to make situations like this right. The floor manager and kitchen manager dropped the ball. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Triple A Cafe, and I can confidently say it was one of the best breakfast experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the aroma of fresh coffee and sizzling bacon filling the air.
What truly set this place apart, however, was the incredible service. My server, Joey went above and beyond to make my visit exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations with a genuine smile. My coffee tasted was great, and the food arrived promptly and perfectly prepared.
Speaking of food....delicious! The omelet eggs were fluffy, cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and everything tasted fresh and made with care.
It’s rare now a days to find a place that combines great food with outstanding service, Triple A Cafe does just that. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a leisurely brunch, this is the spot to visit. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreI went in this morning around 9:30. I thought I’d support a smaller business rather than a corporate one. I stood waiting to be seated for about 3 minutes. It wasn’t terribly busy and everyone already had food or was about done eating. I wasn’t acknowledged. It wasn’t until another gentleman came in that I was acknowledged. I wanted a To Go order. I was asked to sit at the bar. I sat 2 chairs down from another gentleman. The waiter went around acknowledged every customer to check and see if they were OK. He then brought out the gentleman sitting near me his food and asked if he needed anything else. The customer asked for condiments. The waiter brought the condiments back. He never asked me what I wanted to order, didn’t acknowledge me. Instead, he went to every customers table except me. After that, three people walked in, and he immediately went to greet them and seated them. After me being there 10 minutes, I walked out. I went to Panera Bread, instead. Very...
