I've only dined at El Morfi at lunch time and it has always been great. The staff has been very kind over the last three years I've been going. When you sit down and order, they provide a basket of sliced bread with an amazing little plate of chimichurri. They will happily refill the chimichurri if asked (goes great on their pizza and with the empanadas).
The empanadas have been great every time I order them. There's usually a lunch special where you can get a bowl of soup with two empanadas for about $11. The jalapeno empanada and the onion empanada are my favorite. They're filled with cheese and each of the fillings enough where one does not over power the other.
They occasionally have lentil soup and it's great. It reminds me of my grandmothers, but it has large bits of beef diced up into it.
The pizza is rather good as well. I've only had pepperoni (recommend) and the salami (it's beef and I don't recommend it). The crust isn't thin, but it isn't thick. It does have a great taste and they put a good amount of cheese on it.
I've never gone during dinner, but I know they have a rotating heater unit outside with four types of empanadas to select. Consider skipping the heater and instead head inside. They have a bigger selection that will be made...
Read more"An exceptional dining experience at El Morfi! From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a smile by the kind waitress. Her attentive nature and knowledge of the menu made me feel right at home.
Now let's talk about the food! Every dish that graced my table was a true delight for the senses. The flavors were rich, authentic, and incredibly satisfying. From the perfectly seasoned grilled meats to the flavorful sides and traditional appetizers, each bite was a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs.
One of the best parts? The price point. El Morfi offers an incredible value for the quality and portion sizes they serve. It's not often that you find a restaurant with such a perfect balance between price and quality.
Overall, El Morfi is a hidden treasure that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. The kindness of the waitress, the fantastic food, and the unbeatable prices make this restaurant...
Read moreI went yesterday to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Everything started good, the waitress was friendly until I complained very politely (honestly) about my chorizo sandwich. I was expecting something good since “choripan” is something characteristic from Argentina, instead I got a lettuce sandwich with 1 tomato slice on each side and 1 hotdog size chorizo cut in half (one half for each half of the sandwich), I could barely taste the meat, all I tasted was lettuce with mayo. After I let the waitress know that the sandwich was pretty disappointing she turned rude and said “well, no one has complained about the sandwich before” like saying I was wrong. I asked her if at least was possible to get another half of chorizo to put in my sandwich, with a rude face she agreed and after she returned with the chorizo she gave me the check, didn’t even ask if I wanted dessert or something else, letting me know that she wanted us to leave, that...
