Biscuits Cafe — Restaurant in Glendale

I have never given such a low rating in all my reviews. I came to try Biscuits Cafe because it was recommended to me, and I was let down. First, the decor and look of the restaurant were tasteful. I give it a 3-star rating for the atmosphere due to the fact that the lights kept going on and off.

Second, the food. I ordered chilaquiles, but what I was given was not traditional. Maybe it was huevos rancheros... The food lacked seasoning, and even adding salt and pepper wasn't enough. The hashbrown was ordered well done, but it didn't come out that way. My niece's chicken strips were tastier than my food. The pancakes were the best part of the meal, though.

Lastly, the server could have been better. Not once were we offered a refill, nor did he come to check on us after the first bite. He wasn't shy about standing around, though. He took the order and literally asked once after the first bite how it was. I don't like to waste food, so I lied and said it was good. His coworkers ran everything for him. I wouldn't go back on my own expense, but if someone else were...

This place gets busy and parking and navigating through the parking lot can be a little tricky. Mainly because you have Starbucks and Canes nearby so drive slowly and safely so you can eat and drink 😊

We arrived on a busy Saturday morning and were told it would be about a 30 min wait. Good news it only took 15 minutes

The staff was great and the service was good

Navigating the restaurant is a little difficult as we are all close together and there isn’t much space between tables.

I really liked the bar setting as they can open the back and expose the patio so if your party is small snag a spot at the bar

The mimosa flight was a fan favorite at our table. As a coffee lover I had to get the coffee flight. My favorite was the caramel latte

We opted for the churro waffles and the blueberry lemon 🍋 French toast

Both are good options if you’re ok with a sweet dessert

The bacon was crispy

By far my favorite side was the loaded hash browns

Honestly I could have eaten that and been completely satisfied

They have relatively large portions so sharing...

Had a terrible experience here. Waited 30 minutes for eggs and a pancake and the eggs arrived COLD. It was super weird how I git my eggs on a small separate plate when they’re usually served on the same plate as the pancakes you order. Also, not only were the eggs cold but the dish they were served in was dirty and the cheese was hardly mixed in- some parts if the cheese weren’t even melted?😭 Very unappetizing. I tried their hot coffee; it tasted so watery. And when I asked the server for a stick to mix the creamer in she got annoyed and told me to they don’t have the coffee sticks- which is fine but she didn’t need to get so annoyed with me for asking. I also got their orange juice. I asked if it was fresh and was told that it was but the color and taste made it obvious that it came from a bottle. Not fresh. On the atmosphere, I came in with my daughter for a family breakfast and our server tried to seat us right beside the bar? This location was also supposed to be new, only opened a month ago, yet it was dirty and we kept having to...
