First time there and no plans of ever going back.
We were one of 4 tables with customer.
The waitress was rude. Felt as though we had insulted her just by being there.
We ordered 4 sushi rolls and no sauce dishes were provided or offered at any point. (Seems like a small thing but I have been eating sushi for most of my life and this is the first time I had ever seen this.)
Water glasses went with out refills.
She never checked with us to make sure our order was correct or if the quality of the food was okay.
We sat there for almost 10 minutes after the last dish was cleared waiting for her to come back with the check. I ended up having to wave her over and asking for the check. He reaction was to wave a finger at me and walk away. Where she then proceeded to take another 5 minutes walking around before finally walking to the station to print up our check. She then walks up and holds the book open waving it at us waiting for us to put our card into without getting to look at it.
Even though my wife was the one who had paid she dropped the book in front of me. Not set down…. Dropped.
As we are getting up to leave she pushes he way past my wife to snatch up the book as my kids are trying to get out of the booth.
Every restaurant I have been to or worked at, SOP was to wait for the client to leave, while thank them for coming, as they leave and then after they have gone pick up the check.
Not once did this lady give us a warm word of greeting or goodbye. She was just plain rude….
Ordered the “Sweetheart Roll” and this is the first time I have ever been served fishy smelling tuna at a sushi restaurant.
Everything else food wise was not quite up to par with other restaurants...
Read more11/16/24 Highly do NOT recommend! I got a green bay deep fried sushi roll. Every bit of my sushi roll was bland and flavorless besides the batter the sushi was dipped in. The batter tasted like grease, it had a terrible flavor. I asked for eel sauce and got the tiniest amount on my roll, so I asked for extra eel sauce and yum yum sauce to cover up the blandness and the terrible grease flavor.
The waitress had an attitude yet no attitude at the same time. She kept rolling her eyes and acting very inconvenienced at drink refills or asking for sauce. Yet, she would not respond and would walk away with the most expressionless look on her face after doing anything. She did not check on us either. We had to ask a chef if we could get some sauce then when she realized we were talking to him she flew over to intercept the conversation.
My boyfriend had to use the restroom and said it smelled strongly of pee. He got the all you can eat sushi. On his second plate, he didn't like one of the rolls so he went to let the waitress know he wasn't a fan of the flavor so he simply didn't want to take the one roll with him on a to go plate, she had an attitude and scoffed and went to get the plate and returned with our ticket charging an extra $25 for the food that wasn't eaten. Quite a bit excessive for food that did not taste good. Overall, terrible experience. Thankfully we don't live locally so we will not ever have the chance to eat here again nor...
Read moreI’ll put it out there - I do not write reviews often, but this place deserves it. My husband and I came in Saturday evening and the place was empty, that tells you something. I’ve eaten at a lot of all you can eat sushi places and they’re usually all decent. This place in comparison is a joke. Nigiri is a ton of badly shaped rice with a tiny piece of fish on top, which doesn’t even cover the rice. It doesn’t even resemble nigiri. The rolls have so much rice that you can’t even taste the fish. “Tempura crumble” in their minds is actually deep fried in tempura batter! Not the same thing!!!! The appetizer “crab salad” is nothing more than a house salad with an imitation crab stick on top… What a joke… I don’t feel comfortable voicing my opinion with the servers but this time I actually did. I said that the amount of rice was too much, and was told… wait for it… that if we wanted less rice, we should have ordered from a regular menu!! What?!?! So they basically go with this ridiculous amount of rice on purpose… so you don’t order too many items… Seriously?! I’ve never been to an all you can eat sushi place that does that!!! Maybe the rolls on the menu aren’t as fancy as on the regular menu but the sushi itself looks and tastes the same! Paying $27 pp for this garbage is beyond ridiculous! Thanks...
