I tried the double cheeseburger with tots for $2.99 and it was terrible! Probably the worst burger I've ever had. I usually go there for ice cream or a freeze because the burgers are so expensive. I've had other burgers there before and they were very good but apparently sale items are a whole different story. I didn't even finish it and threw away the 2nd order I had planned on having as well. I was worried that I was going to end up with a case of food poisoning. The corporate office should be embarassed and in the process of closing this location down.
In response to sonic's response: I'm not sure why sonic would respond if they aren't going to try in any way to may the situation right. I wasted about $7.00 on their inedible and most likely hazardous food and all they can come back with is "we hope you check us out again. I would rather spend my money at a business that actually wanted to give great customer service soon". Could they be any more ridiculous . They don't even offer a free burger, or how about a refund?, as a sign of good faith to entice me back to give it another try. Nope, apparently the assumption is that It's my personal honor to chance wasting more money on them and probably risking a hospital visit as well by checking them out again. Why would I ever do that when there is an In N Out burger next door. Thanks, but no thanks. I would rather get a burger at a business that actually appreciates their customers and can be trusted to not hand you garbage...
Read moreEarlier this week, my family wanted some sonic pretty bad. The kids love pulling up to the menu and ordering their food and eating in the car. Pressed the button and waited for 5 minutes or so. Pressed it again and waiting patiently a little longer. Didn't get any response. Decided hey, they might be busy, a lot of cars are going thru the drive thru, so I backed out and went into the driver thru as well. Pulled up the the speaker box and guess what? No response. Nothing. Waited 5 minutes. Noone said anything thru the speaker to me. So I pulled away and went somewhere else. Decided to give it another try today, this time just going thru the drive thru. The kid in the window was obviously stoned out of his mind. Could barely take my wife's order, the food was absolutely trash. I ate a tater tot that tasted like rotten fish. Not one person finished their food in my family. The only thing I enjoyed was my ice cold coke. I'm typically not one to post a negative review. I get it, theres bad days and good days. But this is just ridiculous. My Karen rant is done. Wont be going back for a while. Maybe try one in a different town....

By 8:43 p.m. we had to leave as we had a four hour drive ahead, after not receiving any food or compensation from management of this restaurant. I called the restaurant's phone number several times and spoke to someone who insisted that there is no management available at the site and there are only three people working. Absolutely ludicrous for us to have to wait this long to get our order. I saw many cars pull up and get their order that was placed on the app. Also I saw many cars drive up to the drive-thru and get their food and continue on about their evening. All the while we spent around an hour and a half and got nothing. $30 was around what we paid with my card and received no food. I will be calling my bank to dispute the transaction as I received zero product for my money. The person on the phone was unprofessional and did nothing to try to resolve our issue. Thanks from a dad and his eight year old son who are trying to get some food before getting back...
