Went through the drive-thru and there was no wait time, ordered my food right away and when I got to the window, my food was ready. The gentleman helping me was polite, no problems with the service...which i usually don't have problems with the staff when coming here and I've been to this location about 5 times. Only 1 out of the five times have my dishes been satisfiable, every other time, my chicken is always dry and wrinkley, as if it has been sitting for a while. I usually get the double chicken avocado salad, but once I ordered a breast and today a 2 piece thigh and leg combo....so dry! I will not be coming to this location $14 in the garbage.

Terrible service. First I had a coupon for free chips and guacamole, so I told them if it went thru since they scanned my app. Young lady at the window said yes but they still charged the same amount and didn’t honor the coupon. Secondly, down in the picture below is what they gave me for my order. I asked for no rice add lettuce. Had it before in other pollo locos and never had a less than half bowl filled with almost no lettuce, no pico de gio, and like 4 sad chicken pieces.

I'm giving yall 1 star, why, because I ask for no pico and what do they do, here you go sir, have some pico, and next I'm pretty sure I asked for a tostada salad and what do I get a plastic bowl, that doesn't look like a tostada to me! I would've went back but it's out of my way!

If I could not even put a star for this restaurant here in Hanford I would have just gave my experience. I am frustrated because not only has it happened once it has happened every time I go it is a 20 mins wait in drive thru and after I pay they tell me to wait in the parking lot I wait another 20 minutes and still not get my order correct. Otems missing but still charged to my card and no way am I going to wait in drive thru another 20 minutes to let them know because the lobby is not open anymore. This place is ridiculous and now I see that it has been months maybe more that people have been complaining about this place and nothing has been done about it. This is the first time coming back to an El Pollo Loco restaurant in a few years, and I was not impressed. Walking in the establishment was dirty. It looked unswept, and the bathroom was gross and had run out of both soap and toilet paper. It looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. Despite those being my first impressions, I still ordered food. I ordered it to go and did not think to double-check it before leaving. I ordered a beef and avocado quesadilla, and I got a chicken avocado burrito after asking for the correct order twice. Dry chicken. We've been there twice now and the worker/cook seem to let the juices from the chicken barely survive without burning the carcass on the grill. Leaving chicken dry and without moisture. Don't you think that being the most important subject on the menu should be the best?

We've experienced chicken pieces, a burrito and a low-cal salad. The 410 calorie salad was pretty tasty except for the dry chicken. What made it less appetizing was comparing it to the photo on the wall. Totally different once it was handed to me. The photo showed every item was all in a row, beautiful and arranged. In my square bowl it was a sloppy mess.
