Tim the night manager was lovely. Sadly I checked out within 10 minutes of checking in because the room was filthy. There were roaches walking around, a dust collection underneath the towel rail on a tile lip where they had obviously installed the towel rail and not bothered to tidy up their mess afterwards, there was one mouse dropping in the bathroom, a rusty metal sharp object on the shower wall, the shower head flange was coming away from the wall and this non-smoking room absolutely wreaked of cigarette smoke. Oh, did I mention the mold on the bathroom ceiling!?

The floor of the room had not been swept or cleaned in some time as it was sticky with debris on the floor. It was a noisy room with any hall noise coming into the room. The WORST part is they demand a cash deposit in addition to any credit card used. It is then like pulling teeth to get your deposit back. They have overpriced laundry machine, but don't sale, nor provide and detergents. I you are down on your luck and have no where else to go, it is probably better than sleeping under a bridge, but if you have options this is the LAST place I would choose.

I understand that this is a budget motel and didn't expect exquisite amenities; I did, however, expect a quiet, clean room for the night. It was quiet, the bed fairly comfortable with what looked like clean sheets. Clean? We'll let the pictures speak to that matter. Didn't expect the man who was a permanent guest next door to be cooking dinner on his grill outside my door either. Couldn't bear to even consider showing in the morning. Felt as though I'd be dirtier coming out than before I went in. Wouldn't even recommend this place for the homeless.

Total Updated Review On September 25, 2025 I have had a great stay at Econolodge since coming here In October 2021. In my previous review I said the Service was Wonderful and the Beds were just what I needed for some of my health issues. We continue to seek permanent housing. What has gotten to be problematic during our stay here is communication. its been quite hard to remember now who is managing and what the names of staff are because there are different staff here every few days. On my floor there was supposed to be a remodel of the rooms. I was informed that " everything had to match" this came from corporate and they were "Strict" about it. The name of the motel had changed. All furniture in my room including headboards to the beds, nightstands, desk, curtains, desk chair, were all new. Only things not new were the beds. I sat and listened while the rest of my floor and the rooms got the new beds and I didn't. Then I had to BEG AND PLEAD for a new refrigerator not once but several times because of the thermostat on them and the freezer wasn't working properly. Was given a brand new one

What happened just recently here in September on the 15th shook me to the core. I must say this motel does work with an exterminator. And they have give us traps to help with the problem.

However what happened has NEVER happened before. On the evening of September 15th a mouse first came on my son's bed not once but twice. The second time going under his pillow. I then got up and put cheese in the trap to try and catch it. But 45 minutes after the mouse came on my bed and was on my back, neck and in my hair. I screamed, was shaking and scared. I have health issues. Long story short this motel has moved us to another room, is exterminating that room. HOWEVER they FIRST wanted me to PAY for the new beds, bedding and sheets, pillows when we moved back into that room. UNTIL I SAID ABSOLUTELY NOT why should I it's your RESPONSIBILITY the mouse came onto the beds!! We did nothing to this mouse. When going to get the key card for the new room I spoke to a staff member who gave me a difficult time. Told him I just had to cancell my surgery a second time due to this. His response? WE DON'T CARE!! Shouting At Me. Spoke to the owners Nephew Requested In Writing that "Didn't have to pay for anything" and he REFUSED saying "We don't do that" Found out that IT IS A REQUIREMENT that HOTELS AND MOTELS MUST GIVE ANYONE In writing that they don't have to pay for anything AND MUST ISSUE A COPY of an INCIDENT REPORT I contacted Corporate. They said "they are INDEPENDENT" THEY GIVE THEM A CHANCE " Meaning....the opportunity to Rectify the situation BEFORE action is taken Against the motel. Then? They Hung up on me.... My Goodness What...

I don't have enough words to describe the horrible experience I just went through with my "stay" in this place. First, the place is dirty everywhere, and the smoke odor in the halls is disgusting. I have never stayed before in a place so stinky like this. Second, I made a booking and paid for a king bed room. Once in the front desk I paid my $50 cash deposit. When I arrived to my room it was a smaller one with no amenities (the microwave and the fridge the room I paid was suppose to have), and two queen beds. The guests next door had their door opened, they had music very loud, and they were smoking cigarettes and weed, the smell was pretty obvious. Forgot to mention this was at 2am. But it was new year celebration, so I was not going to interrupt their party just because I wanted to rest. I guess 2 in the moorning still very early, right? I went to the lobby and indicated the front desk guy I received the wrong room. I showed him my book receipt, and he told me that room was not available. So, I asked him, how the room that I booked and paid is not available? He did not had an answer and he called another guy. This one I assumed was his supervisor, he made the arragements to make the unavailable room available. So, alredy in the next room the nightmare continued. I have never before stayed in a non smoking room that had the worst smoke odor ever. It was impossible to breathe. Thanks God I did not had a child with asthma. The sheets and comforter stinked like a person finishing a work out routine, it was nasty. But I was already so tired that I gave up. Few hours later I checked out and the guy "forgot" to give me my deposit back. He grabbed my key and left to talk in his personal cellphone. New customers arrived asking to check out and he did not offered to give their deposit money back. So they asked for it, like I had to do when he finished with them. Tonight I checked my bank account because I had a bad feeling. Well, they charged me twice, but the second charge was for $145 out of nowhere. I already called my bank, the hotel and priceline. They are suppose to give my money back. Let see how that goes. Conclusion, don't waste your money...

This hotel is the most disgusting place I have ever seen! I had to stay here due to poor weather conditions and I couldn't drive home. The first room I was give (room # 157) was filthy the sheets had not been washed there were holes in the ceiling and walls. The door was not hinged correctly and in order to get in or out of the room you had to throw your body against it! I was in the room for about an hour when I saw a roach in the bathroom (where there was used soap in the drain of the shower and clumps of hair). I called the front desk and was switched to another room (room #213) which was equally as gross but I didn't see roaches. There was red splashes all over the walls and bathroom. The dresser was broken, dirt was crusted on everything, it smelled with old cigarette butts laying on the floor!! I spent most of my night at the Denny's next door to avoid being there. I went back to the room to try and sleep which I did without covers for fear of what might be hidden and woke up 2 hours later with bed bugs crawling on the bed!!!!! I had bites all over my body and had to throw away my clothing and bags for fear of bringing them back to my family and home!!! I have contacted customer service who told me to send the pictures I took (I wish I could post them here) of the bed bugs and filth but they have not emailed me with the address. DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL END UP WITH A FEAR OF HOTELS! YOU WILL BE BITTEN BY BUGS AND POSSIBLY TAKE THEM HOME TO YOUR FAMILY! Any review here that is more than 1 star is the owners obvious attempt to raise his...
