Date of stay end of January 2025. Great hotel! Love that it's near food, and a lil' China town inspired market place where you can go get your nails and feet done, along w/ a full body massage, stop by one of the Thai restaurants, or if you're in the mood for some good seafood boil, then after finishing off your meal stop by the asian market where you can putchase some snacks, and Asian fave art, pushies, etc. and finish your day w/ a lil' boba drink. After that lil' adventure find yourself taking a 10-15 minute walk back to the hotel. Upon walking through the entrance you'll notice the hotel is huge clean and has an open floor plan concept. The sound of water flowing from the beautiful man-made indoor water feature gives a teanquil but luxurious feel and positive good energy. The front desk personnel/ associates present during my stay were very welcoming and friendly. I'm a Bonvoy member and appreciate the stay reward points. Some hotels choose not to honor it because of my travel through my employer. It's definitely appreciated to know that they're honored here regardless. Also I took the elevator to get to my hotel room. Upon waving my key card in front of the hotel door I was pleasantly surprised of how the open feel of my room and the amenities included. Instantly it was apparent the room was clean, smelled fresh of clean linens, the pillows are large and comfortable. Alot better then small square pillows like most hotels seem to have now. So that was nice to find the larger more comfortable pillows that I will be laying my head on. The bathroom vanity was large, spacious and everything was visibly sanitized. Great water pressure from the sink, tub/ shower and the toilet. Nothing had rust, no wear and/or tear, or visible defects. The bathroom was jus' very inviting and organized like the rest of the room. Unfortunately, there was no microwave but thankfully there were both a working mini fridge and a coffee/ tea/ hot beverage machine available. Also note there is a personal safe located in the entertainment center. The room set up was really nice, comfortable, modern w/ a lil' luxury feel. Now to the amazing gym(s) and pool amenities. There's a gym for cardio that even has a couple of exercise balls as well as a hanging boxing bag on a multi fitness machine center. Across from the cardio gym you'll find a seperate weight lifting room. In-between the 2 gyms a separate inground indoor heated pool w/ physically challenged accessibility and an area where you can find clean accessible pool towels along w/ emergency phone and a covered fire extinguisher should you ever need it. The hotel has a public washer and dryer room on the main floor to the elevator or when taking the grand staircase. Jus down the hall from that public accessible washer/ dryer room you'll see ice dispenser room that surprise surprise has a microwave sitting in top of a table next to the large ice maker/ dispenser machine. All-in-all amazing hotel. Definitely look forward to more future stays and highly recommend this amazing hotel to anyone looking for everything I mentioned, recorded, and posted here on Google Maps.

+ very friendly staff + received gold elite member complimentary upgrade which was a great perk + beautiful decor and vibe in the main areas and in the rooms + very nice and spacious bedroom suites o we were assigned rooms right next to the elevator, but we didn’t hear the elevator at all nor were we bothered much by it, thankfully. o the rooms should have been fit for four people per our reservation, but both rooms only had two sets of towels. However, the staff were quick to respond and bring up the other two sets for each room. (I wish they’d been fitted when we got there.) o Also, we specifically needed the sofa beds for our reservation, but linens for both sofa beds were not included in the room at all. We had to request all those items, though the staff was able to bring them up to our room for us which was a great help. I do wish those linens had been included in the room, especially knowing our reservation required them. -The water pressure was mediocre, but the fixtures were nice. -The cappuccino machine was broken in the M Lounge, which was a huge disappointment. -The M Lounge was a bit of a disappointment in general. The vibe was nice, but all they offered was some pretzels, goldfish crackers, Chex mix, and gummy bears.. plus some waters and cans of Pepsi. I’ve been at M Club lounges that offer packaged snacks plus finger foods throughout the day. I was expecting the same kind of service, but was so disappointed. -parking was supposed to be $11.99/day, but I was never asked to swipe my card.. I have to go back and check what they charged me. They told me I would have to pay two days worth per room ($25x2 rooms) just for our one overnight, which felt like robbery, to be honest. Why wouldn’t one vehicle be included in the price for each room? If they charged me extra, I will come back and remove an additional star. o however, purchasing M Club access did afford us “free” breakfast buffet, so for our families of four, it was probably worth it. - the breakfast buffet felt quite a bit lacking. No waffle machine—only toast, bagels, muffins & croissants. The cantaloupe tasted fermented, like it’d been left out too long. The yogurt & cereal options also felt limited. We couldn’t have chocolate milk from the cappuccino machine, so we all had plain water.. I didn’t see juice offered anywhere. -the pool was closed the day we stayed “for cleaning.” We stayed Saturday-Sunday, and they were cleaning it on a Saturday. Maybe reconsidering the schedule so it is cleaned in advance for guests on the weekend. One entire star removed for breakfast. Half a star for the other items.. I’ll come back after I review my bill. Otherwise a good stay.

I had to update and downgrade my opinion... a couple more annoyances... Not sure if they don't use the shampoo bottle anymore, but mine was empty the entire stay... never refilled. Next, the last day, my room was not turned and I had no towels. They brought one quickly, but when I called, they offered no explanation as to why the room wasn't turned when I asked. Lastly, and most importantly, about my 5th day in, I started to get bumps on my skin. They itched like nothing I've ever experienced. This is the last place I would suspect bedbugs would be an issue. I'm not concluding that there ARE bedbugs, but my symptoms meet the description dead on. I have itchy bumps still on my legs and hands. Totally grossed out! I work in the Houston area about 4 months out of the year, and I've stayed at most of the major hotels in the area. This was first time here and I booked the entire 8 nights here instead of breaking up my stay at different hotels like I usually do. I was hoping this would be the 'diamond in the rough' I've been looking for. So far, it's been a hit and miss for me, and I still have 5 more days to go here. :( When I checked in, the TV wasn't working. After a long flight I just wanted to relax, but instead I had to wait for the tech to show up (it was NOT a long wait, but I didn't want to unpack in case I had to change rooms). Though nitpicky, the desk top in the room is made of a white glass, which is not good for the functionality of a computer mouse. I couldn't get my laptop to connect to the guest wi-fi, even after using the password given from the front desk. I went to the lobby with my laptop and was able to connect there. Tonight, I left my office early to have dinner in the lobby while I work. There was literally no one in the eating area, so I asked if it was open. They said yes, and to just have a seat and someone would help me. I got situated with my laptop and waited. No one came. Gave it a few more minutes, still no one came... So I decided to order out. I sat their long enough to get situated, give a little more time, and place an order with Doordash. I ended up sitting in the lobby area and ate my food there so I could be on laptop. Since I still had to do work, I had to stay in the lobby for the wi-fi. My computer battery got low, so I went around the tables that had outlets, but none of them worked. Back to the room to charge then go back to the lobby later. Overall, it's clean, seemingly safe, and the interior is beautiful. My hope is that the rest of my stay will be an improvement. I'm disappointed that I'm disappointment in this hotel. :(
