Have been a customer since my childhood, every special occasion including my quinceañera was cake catered by Arandas. Recently though I ordered a cake from here for a surprise 'going away' party, 3 leches (cause who goes to a Mexican bakery if not for 3 leches right?) I went to pick it up right after work, took it home helped finish decorating and 2.5 hours later when we cut the cake figured out it was not 3 leches. Some guests took slices anyways. My step mom and dad were leaving and asked to take theirs to go so I cut a big piece for them to take and warned it wasn't tres leches, What was I supposed to do?? Deny them cake?? but I was very disappointed. I don't live nearby so I called Arandas right away. They asked me to return the cake the bext day. Next morning before driving there I called and spoke to Daniel the Manager, I was told, and he argued that I hadn't specified the cake to be 3 leches. I said "if I wanted dry cake I would of gone to Kroger or Walmart" He then said he would give me $30 dollars in store credit. I told him I wanted a full refund of store credit which was $37. He hesitantly agreed, so I took the cake back. A little bit over half of the cake was left. Manager Daniel comes out, opens the box, and says: "Half the cake was eaten huh?" Implying that we ate the cake on purpose and still wanted it for free!! He made me feel like it was my fault! He didn't look at me at all, Never Apologized, and Angrily wrote the credit receipt. IT'S NOT ABOUT THE $ IT IS THE PRINCIPAL. I WOULD BE SATISFIED IF THEY WOULD OF APOLOGIZED FROM THE GET GO! IM THE ONE WHO HAD TO MAKE 2 TRIPS - 2 HOURS-TO AND FROM SO DANIEL THE MANAGER COULD BE RUDE TO ME?! NO PEOPLE, ARANDAS NEEDS TO WORK ON THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. THERE ARE MANY OTHER BAKERIES BUT I CHOSE ARANDAS AND IF IT WASNT FOR PPL LIKE MYSELF THEY WOULDNT HAVE BUSINESS. AN APOLOGY WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. THEYRE CAKES ARE GOOD BUT IF ARANDAS IS IN THE WRONG DONT EXPECT AN APOLOGY...

If I could give him give 0 stars I would I order my dads 60 birthday party which was a whole sheet cake for 100 people the cake was black with gold. Nastiest cake ever the cake was not even eatable u could taste the black whipped cream like plastic n the cake was order with fruit but contained no fruit wat so ever. I had alway orders from here for years but recently they’ve just had the worst management n people working here they don’t care about the quality anymore they just care about the money. I payed $120 for a whole sheet cake n what I receive was not even believable. In the party no one even took a bite of the cake because of how nasty the cake was. I should of just took my money and my business to EL BOLLILLO they always make the best cakes but again since everybody knew the arandas bakery we all agreed on there but this is the worst place to get cakes I DONT recommend unless u want to be embarrassed in front of hundreds of people with a disgusting cake and for pictures I have proof so PLEASE DONT buy cakes here go to any other cake store n I promise u will get a better cake and more than likely...

Security pulled a gun on me.

I went to Arandas Bakery a few hours ago, the security guard approached me and said I can't have a firearm I apologized and told him there was not any posted signs saying this. I also showed him my licenses to carry ID, he walked away. I preceeded to pay the cashier suddenly the guard pull his gun on me. He was held back by two store employees. They then apologized to me and didn't want me to call 911. I called the police they showed up took statements, viewed the video footage and gave me a case number.

I've been going to this place for many years And almost lost my life today because of an inexperienced security guard and a store who allows its security to threaten its customers. I will express this on every social media platform.

I am still unable to process this. I just wanted some tamales but instead I had a gun pulled on me. WOW!!!!! I AM STILL SHAKING. I WILL NEVER EVER GI BACK OR RECOMEND Arandas Bakery to...

Due to not many workers speaking fluent english i had to come back a few days after placing a cake order to make sure the first person understood every detail about the cake i ordered. Glad i did because there was a few things to many that was written not in the correct details. Luckily this time the second worker spoke to spoke fluent English and took the details very precise. Once it was time to pick up the custom cake the only inconvenience thing was having to come back to pick up the fondant ribbon banner that should have been put on there. I had a family member pick uo the cake prior to me having to come a hour later. Other than that the cake was super huge bigger than i expected and it was soooooo delicious!!! Everything was too cute! The flavor was amazing! Would definitely order more custom cakes in the future!!!

My husband ordered a tres leches cake for my birthday. When he brought it home for me, I thought they had given us the wrong cake. There was no writing on the cake that said Happy Birthday and it was covered in fruit! We decided to try it anyway and cut into it. It was like no other tres leches cake I have ever had and not in a good way. It had 3 different layers inside that were pink, white, and brown. The worst part was it had fruit inside of it. Old hard pineapple, peaches (I hate peaches) and grapes! Who puts grapes inside a cake?? The whipped cream was so old that was gummy tasting. Tasted like it had been sitting on a shelf for at least a week and had a freezer burn taste. Nobody at my birthday party like it and we threw it all away. That was a waste of $50.00! Never again will I order anything from this bakery!!
