Alright so my rating is based on the 5 extra people I was with which I usually don't do but I did feel some type of way here.
I do understand that when we came it was 5pm or so on Cinco de Mayo and since it's fairly new they haven't been hit with a "holiday" like this but absolutely no excuse to have your food served 50 minutes later. When we got here we did not have to wait at all and were seated quickly. Waited for someone to acknowledge us for like 3 minutes, when the server came she was nice but it seemed like she was being pulled everywhere so it was hard to concentrate on us when giving her the drink orders. The drinks were coming out at a good pace and they were delicious but when we got our appetizers and we ordered we waited FIFTY minutes, I had the head of house, the server coming to apologize and kept saying the food was coming out and the head of house asked if we wanted something to drink on the house which we got but we were hungry and frustrated so we did not appreciate as we should. The food then came out and everything was as ordered however one of the plates was cold but my friend was too hungry to send it back. The food was good, had good flavor and we did enjoy it but the whole waiting experience killed the mood. Like I said I understand it had 5 de Mayo but that is totally not acceptable to be served almost an hour later, I definitely recommend coordinating this better.
The place is beautiful, nicely decorated and clean since it's new, they had a live band and the outdoor cover area was nice with plenty of seating, parking was packed so it was a bit of a hassle for parking, something they should address.
I did enjoy the ambience, the drinks and food so I would come back, maybe but definitely wanted to bring the attention to...

Luigi Steak husband gave it a 7/10. Said the steak lacked seasoning, he poured lobster bisque on top of it. He enjoyed everything else.
Lobster Bisque 9/10 even my 1 yr old son couldn’t get enough even tho it had a little kick of spice for a one year old lol. Could have been a perfect 10, BUT the little garlic bread was not toasted all the way leaving some pieces soggy.
Crème brûlée 10/10. Absolute perfection.
Tres Leches 6/10. The cake was WAY too dense.
Michelada 3/10. The mix was not good. Didn’t taste like a traditional homemade michi.
Queso 8/10. The consistency was a little too thick. The chips were kind of old, I had multiple that were stale. We ordered a full queso appetizer but the waitress didn’t put it in. Once we inquired about it, another staff member gave us a little sample of it so we could at least try it.
Service 4/10. When ordering, we felt rushed. I wasn’t even finished ordering and waitress took off. I went the whole meal without my water refilled. It was my only drink. We were given our food by someone else, and never checked up by our waitress until it was too late. The girls mannerisms were very nice, she tried. The real heroes were a random bartender and another waitress who we had to flag down. They were both very polite and helpful.
Decor is very modern but it looked like a tóxica’s dream lol. I can imagine it’s most appealing to people who like to listen to rregeton like bad bunny. Personally, it’s not my type but it’s cool if you’re...
Read moreUnfortunately, although the restaurant does get an A+ for Aesthetics, my experience was less than satisfactory. When we were seated, it became apparent that customer service was not a priority. Our waiter was nowhere to be found for extended periods, resulting in a lengthy wait for our drinks and overall neglect of our table.
To compound our disappointment, just as we were beginning to savor our meal, we were unceremoniously pressured to relinquish our table to make way for a reserved party. This disregard for our dining experience left us disheartened. Furthermore, the staff began clearing and cleaning our table while we were still seated, creating an uncomfortable sense of urgency to vacate. This only intensified the feeling of being rushed and significantly detracted from our enjoyment of the meal.
It's disheartening when a restaurant prioritizes turning tables over allowing guests to comfortably enjoy their meal and conversation. Such actions further emphasize the need for significant improvement in both customer service and hospitality practices
Although the manager attempted to rectify the situation, offering apologies and perhaps a gesture of goodwill, the damage had already been done. While I appreciate their effort, it's evident that the restaurant as a whole needs to improve significantly in terms of service and customer care.
In conclusion, while the food may have had potential, the lack of attentive service and the rushed atmosphere left much to be desired. Tequila45 has the opportunity to do better and prioritize the satisfaction of their patrons...
