Rented a room here on a colder day. 1st, the motel would NOT allow an early check in, before 3pm. Second, the motel attendant, gave me a room on the 3rd floor. Meaning I had to climb three flights of stairs anytime I wanted to go in or out. Next, room #315, has a roach infestation. This was a problem for me because I spent $70 to have roaches crawling around in the bed I was to sleep in. At the same price, I could have rented a better room without the added guests. Lastly, the room I was given was freezing cold. The heater did not work. I tried to make it work for over half the day until I called the office. Upon calling the office, the motel attendant suggested that I turn on the heat "properly"... To which I stated that I had... Then the attendant comes up to my room, turns the heat on, and says to call him back in 20 min to see if it was working properly then. During that 20 min, the room filled up with MORE cold air. The air-conditioning unit as well as the doorway had pretty good sized gaps in them, which allowed extra cold air to come in. After the heater still didn't work, the attendant said the owner blamed the units not being used for heat for several months and said that it would take time to work properly... although Its now 4am, and I'm still freezing. Between the crawling roaches and the extra cold room, I have been unable to actually get any rest. I will not stay here again and I suggest you don't either. The amount of money charged is not up to the quality of the rooms in which they rent here.... lastly, during my one night stay, I developed a rash on my arms.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – RACIST, UNSAFE, AND UNPROFESSIONAL This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was absolutely filthy and infested with roaches, making it clear that cleanliness is not a priority at this property. It was disgusting and unacceptable for any guest to stay in such conditions. When I brought up the issue to the staff, the situation became even worse. They were not only disrespectful but also blatantly racist in their treatment toward me. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, they escalated the situation unnecessarily, and I felt unfairly targeted and unsafe throughout my stay. The general manager, who also manages another Wyndham property, handled the situation in an incredibly unprofessional manner. Because of the issue at this property, he refused to allow me to book a room at the other property he manages, leaving me with no options. This was clearly personal and not based on any valid reason, showing a complete lack of accountability and professionalism. I will not tolerate being treated this way and will be pursuing my legal rights to address the racism, unprofessionalism, and negligence I experienced. This property is not only unsanitary but also unsafe for guests, with management that clearly has no regard for fairness or basic decency. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Booked this hotel because it looked like a nice place to stay without looking at reviews….. first mistake! I didn’t have much money to get a decent hotel so thought it would atleast be a clean place to stay…. However upon arrival I had to go to a side window I couldn’t even hear what the lady was saying to me I paid and got my room key. Immediately walking through the door which doesn’t close properly! The room smelled awful and had flies! I don’t mind flies but the smell alone explained why the flies were there. The furniture was dirty including table top and counters. Black mold on the ceiling and inside the shower. Pee was on the ground around the toilet and don’t even need to mention how sticky and nasty the carpet was mind you I had to stay with my two toddler who refuse to keep shoes on 🤮 their feet were so nasty. Dog or cat pee was covered on the walls and dead bugs piled in corners. The sheets were stained pretty bad and it’s a very thin blanket. Flimsy stinky pillows that are very small. Booked with another hotel before the first night was even over. Ridiculous they don’t give refunds knowing the condition of these rooms. BIG SCAM! Idc how cheap it is, it should never be this low in basic cleanliness! On top of it my ac unit was melted like it was on fire at one point! Never again.

I wish I could give them a 0. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

My nieces and sister was in town so my boyfriend and I decided to take them down to Galveston and decided that this was a reasonable price for the 3 nights. It was the worst mistake of my life and I cannot even imagine having to have anyone stay there. The first night we checked in, the front desk person did not even greet us as we checked in, the 2nd day we requested for more towels and the front desk stated that we had to go up to the desk to pick them up, so we went up there to grab more towels. They were serving breakfast so we decided to grab some cereal and doughnuts. The milk was warm and there was not much selection. We asked for more pillows since there were 3 kids and 2 adults and the front desk person advised us that we had to ask housekeeping, when housekeeping came around, we asked and she asked why we needed more pillows and if we paid for 5 people, I advised her that yes in fact it is on our reservation and she refused to give me more pillows.

My girls started getting bumps on their legs and arms and I did not even think that it could have been bed bug bites, I just assumed it was due to the heat or mosquito bites. On the day we were checking out, we found a bug and lifted the covers and there were tons of bed bugs and the bumps started to swell up. We notified the front office right away and she acted surprise, but the people behind us overheard and also told us that they had bed bugs in their room on the first night and had asked to be moved into another room. I am glad that we saw them on the way out because that will help us build a stronger case against this hotel. My room # was 105 and the other room was 103 ad 107.

There were prostitutes walking back and forth and we had left our cooler outside the door because it smelled like fish from the baits we had and someone opened it and realized it stunk and we overheard them closing it back up. This is an unsafe hotel and I would not recommend this to anyone.

The manager, Jay Pachal accused me of lying and stated that they did a through inspection and found no bed bugs, yet we brought the proof to the front desk and also lifted the covers of the beds and seen the bugs for our self. There is no way that they can do this and he also goes as far as to say that we stayed 3 nights and did not say anything, we are new to the Texas heat and thought it probably was mosquito bites or from the heat. Days later and we are all itching and its gotten worse, but they refuse to give us a full refund, so I am going to the Attorney General, Department of Health and whoever will listen to let this be known that this place is not safe for anyone,...

If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent experience at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn't dare stay here ever again. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this establishment lacked basic standards of hospitality and cleanliness.

Upon checking in, we were left waiting at the front desk for an unacceptable 15 to 30 minutes in the scorching heat. This initial inconvenience set the tone for the rest of our stay. As we entered the elevator, an overwhelming stench of what can only be described as hot urine and other unpleasant odors assaulted our senses. It was a truly repulsive experience that left us feeling disgusted.

The first room we were assigned to was an absolute disaster. The moment we stepped inside, a putrid smell engulfed the space, making it nearly unbearable to stay in. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit in the room was malfunctioning, leaving us sweltering in the heat. It was clear that basic maintenance and cleanliness were severely lacking.

After complaining about the condition of our room, we were reluctantly moved to another one. However, this room also had a foul odor lingering within its walls. Although the air conditioning seemed to be functioning properly this time, it did little to alleviate our disappointment and discomfort.

To add insult to injury, during our brief stay, we encountered several roaches scurrying across the floor. This was not only unsightly but also raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the hotel. Given these circumstances, we decided that it was best to cut our losses and request a refund.

Unfortunately, our request for a refund was met with resistance from the hotel staff. Despite providing evidence of the unsanitary conditions and subpar experience we had endured, they denied our request without any valid explanation or attempt to rectify the situation. This lack of accountability and customer service only further solidified our negative perception of this establishment.

In conclusion, my experience at this hotel was undeniably terrible. From the prolonged wait at check-in to the repulsive odors, malfunctioning air conditioning, presence of roaches, and the refusal to provide a refund, it was an overall nightmare. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you value cleanliness, comfort, and basic...

This place has new owners in the last 18 months or so amd they are ok living with the roaches. That was no issue when the last folks owned it at least not in the room I was in. They refuse to allow folks to rent forst floor rooms even diamond and platinum members. I got to get a room it's 1am I have two kids and my dog the man woupdnt let me pay 10 pet fee for tonight and pay the other tomorrow after I went to the bank. He had first floor rooms o0en. The place should be shut d9wn the ac units are 30 years ol and our stay was miserable. I stayed over the weekend. They are tripping 9ut worried about 10 damn dollars for a dog and have roaches so bad it's a disgrace. Refuse to allow anyine to rent forst floor heat roses do again the ac unit's will not Kool your room amd they refuse to refund your money after taking it. How this is remotely legal we allow businesses to be so predatory, idk..... they get your money you get a key walk upstairs it's roach infested amd so hot you about pass out. Then they expected you to tolerate suffocating in a room that is suffocating. I made a reservation and g9t there the l8ghts were off snd the ac was off. After two hours the whole back half 9f the room was still acorching worse than 9utsode bc they feel they are wasting rheir electric by turning your light and air in to make a guest more comfortable. They have caps to needles lying around actually it was in front of rhe elevator. That is another issue I explained I need 1st floor that I keep requesting and they won't honor. Yet I saw rooms w lights out no guest in them on the f9rst floor. It's alms9t as if they want their guests to suffer and have a miserable stay. Their people skills suck. Again I was booking two more n8ghts bc if medical issues I needed to poe d9wn. He says well we have an elevator. Lol. And???????? We have to walk and use the elevator they must only show foest floors rooms to health department and corporate. Every room is roach infested with no proper cooling... this seems to be a way of life for folks...
