Unless you can arrive here a half hour to an hour prior to their closing time you can guarantee to get your treat. Keep in mind that the workers include their clean-up time within there hours of operation. For example, it is posted they close at 8:30 pm, they will refuse you from eating in the establishment at 8 pm, and it is take out only. Also, we've arrived here while management was present and this closing procedure was followed. However, on one occasion, we arrived 20ish minutes prior to 8pm in anticipation to sit down and eat our dessert. Nope, the two girls working that night said we couldn't stay. They were already beginning to clean up and mop the dining area.

When we arrived tonight, 02/03/25 Monday, 13 minutes before closing, we were denied service altogether. We walked in and sat down to wait, since the girl working this evening was busy in the back. She then came to the front of the register and stated that the 3 customers in front of us were being helped and that they would be all she could manage up to closing. We left upset. Your establishment is still under hours of operation according to your postings, and you chose to turn away money. I understand locking the door at 8:30 to prevent customers in past closing. However, we weren't the only ones being turned away. Another couple of customers walked in after us and were also denied service.

If an establishment can't manage staying open properly with the offered dining area until the listed time is posted, or it fluctuates depending on who's working, dont bother posting times. Your customers need consistency. State that your hours vary because they do. Better yet, make your closing time accomodate your workers' ability to clean and get out by 8:30 if that is the goal. To customers reading this, Handles is open until 10pm and will take an order up to 9:59pm. It's good business to not turn away paying customers in the hours you state you should be open. Most establishments understand this. your employees need to be nicer about when they want to choose to leave early when your business hours show you close at 9pm. We came in at 8:30 & the girls who were working didn’t look like they even wanted to help us. We asked if they closed at 9pm and both of them didn’t want to respond. So we asked again nicely and one of the staff said “yes but we’ve had a busy day and we still need to clean.” okay i understand. So we proceed to order our ice cream so we can be out of their way & with attitude took our order. As she was scooping ice cream she starts talking to her other co worker and saying little things which i’m sure talking about us. she served us our ice cream with attitude & said “everything’s to go.” basically asking us to get out & proceeded to slam the receipt on the counter. I don’t appreciate the way we were treated & although i’ve been to this business multiple times i don’t think it’s fair to treat your customers this way.
