Walgreens Pharmacy — Local services in Irving

Horrible experience. I show up today to pick up my dogs medication. I am using the coupon that the pharmacy printed out for me last month in December. I was told I can use this coupon. Medicine originally $1000 and in December I was able to get it down to $60 with this Walgreens coupon that was given to me. Btw this is a seizure medication for a dog so not something like allergy. It’s a necessity. Anyways, I go to the pharmacy today and they say they need an NPI number for this coupon. I say last time they didn’t need that and I was able to buy it. The man pharmacist continued to interrupt me. They tried good rx and I told them that they need a DEA number and a very doesn’t close that for an uncontrolled substance. Extremely bad communication because the last tech and pharmacist said I could use this every time I. One in and not worry about pricing and now the people today can’t use it? If I could give it zero stars I would. This is the most prejudice Walgreens I've ever been too. After almost immediately walking in I was followed by a “secret shopper” that made me feel very uncomfortable. She followed me to the line and stood very close behind me to see all the items in my hand. Even the cashier was rude. But Walking out was the worst, despite everyone else walking through the detector in the front and it not going off the Detector went off for me. I stood there and no one said anything (I was gladly willing to open my bag ect.). I finally got someone’s attention and they said “oh your good”. I’m good??!! Why would the detector go off if I’m good??!! They didn’t bother to check my bag. Walgreens has theses detectors go off when they want them too, it doesn’t matter if your stealing or not.I have no reason to steal, I work to hard for my money to not spend it. I will no longer shop at Walgreens and will be taking my business to CVS FROM NOW ON. Walgreens do better and everybody Drive the extra miles to...

Unfortunately the other reviews are correct- this place is awful, slow, and inefficient. I had scheduled my IDNow covid test there and was turned away because “they were going to go to lunch a little early and my sample would no longer be viable” and then I went a second time for a covid test for travel and was told several times that I would have the results in 24 hours or less. I barely got them - 4 days later, and I needed them for travel, I missed a whole day in Hawaii because I had to get re tested at another Walgreens ( and had the results in less than 2 hours).
