I recently had the pleasure of dining at Familia Restaurante, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Steak Fajita Bowl: The highlight of my meal was the Steak Fajita Bowl. It was bursting with flavors, featuring tender slices of steak cooked to perfection, accompanied by a medley of sautéed vegetables, and served over a bed of fresh lettuce. Each bite was a delightful blend of spices and freshness. The Horchata was very tasty and full of flavor, I would whole-heartedly recommend it!

Service: The staff at Familia Restaurante were attentive and friendly. They greeted us warmly upon arrival, ensured our water glasses were always full, and checked in periodically to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Their genuine hospitality added to the overall positive atmosphere of the restaurant.

Peach Cobbler: To conclude our meal, we indulged in the peach cobbler. It was nothing short of amazing! The dessert featured warm, juicy peaches enveloped in a sweet, cinnamon-spiced sauce, topped with a buttery, flaky crust. Paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it was the perfect end to a memorable dining experience. It came in a very hot skillet and it just added to taste. Wow!

Overall, Familia Restaurante offers a delightful blend of authentic Mexican flavors, exceptional service, and delectable desserts. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone in the area seeking a satisfying and...

OMG! Idk where to begin, I walked into this small hidden gem 💎 and was honestly amazed. I have visited Mexico, different parts in my travel for the last couple of years, and I have tried some of the BEST food they have to offer!

This restaurant is truly a reflection of the authenticity of Mexico, and the delicious 🤤 savory and creative dishes they have prepared for us. I am simply in love 🥰 again!

We were greeted warmly, immediately seated and then they brought chips and salsa which was absolutely delicious. Everything taste, and felt authentic from the moment we walked in.

As we continued, we both agreed we were excited to pick out appetizers, entrees and desserts to share! We decided on the Queso Fundido added chicken, Tablitas, Aria's Parrilla Mixta, and the most satisfying, delicious, amazing 🤩 peach cobbler I ever had in my life! (I’m a Baker) and sell desserts, and this is was like no other peach 🍑 cobbler I ever tasted! Just beyond my expectations!

I know some won’t believe, but I have witnesses, I sat there and cried real tears of joy, as I bit into this peach cobbler. It was the best thing I’ve ever tasted dessert wise.

I absolutely love this place, you guys deserve 5 million stars! Thank...

I have to say, this is by far one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The owners, Roberto & Elcia, are very warm and welcoming and really treat you like family.

The establishment itself is very minimalist, clean and bright, but also has nice ambiance lighting.

The food itself is absolutely phenomenal!

The chips and salsa, which they brought out right away, were on point. The green salsa was my favorite as it was creamy but with an added tangy zing of lime 😋, and the chips were crispy and warm.

I had the Pollo en Mole (bone-in chicken in mole sauce), and my son had the Chile Relleno.

The Mole was so, so delicious and was accompanied by hand-made corn tortillas fresh off the comal! The chicken was fall off the bone tender and the sauce...oh, the sauce. It was gloriously complex in the most harmonious way. Sweet and savory, with the subtle notes of cinnamon, clove, and chocolate dancing in the background. The rice and beans were great, too.

I tried a bite of the Chile Relleno and it was also delicious!

We can't say enough good things about this place. ♥️We loved it so much and are sure you'll love it, too!

Be sure to stop by for...

Finally, a good tex mex restaurant in Irving. Something my husband and I have been looking for. They have a variety of options on their menu but on this day I wanted to try out Tacos AL Carbon for the first time and let me tell you I was impressed with my meal from the two tacos to the rice and beans. Usually, when I go to restaurants, I probably end up being satisfied with one or two items that are served on my plate, but at Familia Restaurante I was satisfied with it all. My husband never eats his mexican rice at most restaurants we go to, but he certainly finished it here. Oh, and they have homemade flour and corn tortillas , which is something I look for when we choose a tex mex restaurant. We definitely enjoyed the flavors of the dishes we chose that day. We will be going back to Familia Restaurante again and again for sure. Thank you, Familia Restaurante, for bringing your service to Irving, TX. We most definitely needed you.

They say you can tell when a Mexican restaurant is good, when you taste the chip and salsa. The salsa wasn’t good, it was GREAT! After the salsa, we started off with a queso and guacamole, and I have to say, they were DELICIOUS. Don’t get me started with the service. The service went above and beyond. We got there when it was super busy, and they did their best to accommodate three people right away. My daughter mentioned that the guacamole was a bit spicy. Moments later, they came with a small plate full of guacamole with no tomatoes and jalapeños. A small gesture that made quite the impression. Plus, 2 appetizers and 3 entrèes for less than $75, which is not bad at all. Their food makes a big impact.
