Motel 6 Canton Oh 0 — Hotel in Jackson Township

I understood that I was booking a lower class hotel, but I thought at the minimum the room would be clean. It was not. The floor had not been vacuumed, and there was some things on the floor by the bed. I had booked a 2 night stay and on the 2nd day we received a call from the front desk telling us we were late to check out. We explained that we had booked a two night stay and it was on the printout we received from the front desk when we checked in. The employee was quite rude and demanded we come to the front desk to get it sorted out. Finally I went to take a shower on the last morning and when i picked up my tower to take to the bathroom with me there was a large mystery hairball on the towel. That was the last straw. We went to the front desk upon checkout and advised the guest customer service representative of the issues and while she apologized and took the towel and said she would speak to housekeeping, she did not offer a refund or any make good. She did tell us that the employee we spoke to on Saturday was new and probably didn't know what he was doing. She also told us that the owners don't put any money back into the hotel for maintenance. We were aware of that from the stained and burned toilet seat...

Seemed overpriced.. For the price point and the quality of the room plus length of stay. I wasn't expecting stellar accommodations by any means. Just needed to sleep badly. Was only here for 8 hrs before checking out and (got in at 2am) I was still charged full price.. Not ideal... Ever hear of pro-rating a room? My hopes were not high and yet still disappointed. The sheets seemed clean, the blankets were not... The carpet was quite stained over uneven concrete.. Stains on the ceiling that reminded me of spaghetti sauce (I hope)...TV worked. Scary looking shower that didn't get used... Lingering smell of smoke (smoke-free facility) But my nose is kinda sensitive to it... Others may not notice. Also, looked like burn marks in sink.... Looked like the pool was up and running. I didn't use it. No swimsuit... darn it... The bed was super uncomfortable, like sleeping on cardboard. Thankfully I didn't see any roaches or bedbugs. Still kept everything off the floor though. And bags fully closed when I wasn't in them. The parking lot is full of...

We checked in around 3 am after 20 hours of driving. The desk clerk told us it was the last room. The room had not been finished cleaning. There were large food crumbs between the sheets of one bed. There was a massive glob of long black hair on the tub drain.The table was moved to the foot of the bed, blocking the walkway to the restroom, as if, someone had moved it to vacuum. Being too exhausted to drive safely to another motel, we slept on top of the blankets for about 2 hours. We couldn't shower in the filthy tub. When I attempted to tell the desk clerk about these issues the next morning.he interrupted me mid-sentence and curtly said that I could've moved to another room. This was after he clearly stated, upon check in, that there were no more rooms. The desk clerk called the room as we were leaving and told me that he had another room that we could move to. We were packed, ready to leave, and on a time schedule so did not shower in another room. Too...
