Would give zero stars if i could to be honest My fiancée has been working there since toward the end of August of 2024. Last week he was not on the schedule. He had called to try to get hours.
On Tuesday , October 22nd, I was running an errand and we only have one phone between us at the moment. Instead of Marsha the manager asking nicely to have him call back , she demanded I take the phone to him within the next half an hour. That was extremely rude so I took the phone to him and dropped what I was doing and took the phone to him. We had a very important court date Wednesday, October 23rd.
October 23rd and he asked if it was possible not to be scheduled that day. It was a very important day. I even got off of my job in short notice as well as long as I showed my papers as to why I had to be off.
Tuesday evening at around 5:15 I was on my way to take him to work and we got hit and run and the other party ran. We had waited 2 hours for the police to come . We got a report and description of the car etc. And after that we went to statcare to be seen. The manager working that night was notified multiple times. First time was we got in a hit and run. Second time we were waiting for the police. Third time we were told to go seek medical attention. So we drove to statcare and manager working that night was notified. On Thursday , October 24th he was notified he was let go. He had a note to be off of work from the doctor October 22nd and October 23rd. He shouldn't even had been scheduled on Wednesday in the first place. He would have happily worked any other day due to our important courtdate that day. Marsha has absolutely no compassion towards her employees. He has said multiple times about how he treats him but he just let it go. Yesterday, October 29th he had waited on hold for over 15 minutes to talk to the manager Josh. He needed something showing he was terminated and he said he would get something for him and my fiancée said okay cool I'll be up there in a minute. Josh acknowledged he'd be up there. We then headed up there and he patiently waited for a manager. The manager they called O jumped down his throat saying they have nothing there to show that he was terminated and he was in the room when Josh finally picked up the phone. I know businesses get busy and managers work as well. The way O came at him was completely crazy. Josh was professional adleast. He barely said much. We did indeed call and he talked to him. He said something about home office. He was saying he couldn't get to his paystubs or anything even before he was terminated and O said you can't get into it because you don't work here nomore . O wouldn't let my fiancée get one single word out. I never believed a job could treat one of their good employees with no respect, especially Marsha.
Because when she demanded she talk to him in the next half an hour last week on the 22nd , it kind of threw me off . I'm just waiting to hear from corporate. I've filled an online report out twice. I'm not rushing anyone to get back with me, but this situation needs...

(& I've been to a few ) that was so efficient that for the wait time approaching 45 minutes, I figured we'd finally get a table & then wait 30 minutes for a waiter, then 45 minutes for the food !! Was I surprised when the waitress hit our table less then 5 minutes after we were seated & then 10 minutes later had our orders taken !! Coffee was 5 minutes before that, then about 1/2 hr before the food hit the table !! Like I said b4, no empty tables in the place & the line still had 25 to 30 people waiting !! The food was perfect, nothing in the ordered meal was wrong & I usually make a small change to my order to see if they actually listen to you !! Maybe I just got lucky & had the best waitress there or they ALL pay attention. Either way, I never mention names at food places, however this lady deserves another gold star & a bonus !!! Her name is Makenna & if you ever go here to eat & she is your waitress, prepare to be well taken care of without having to ask for a refill or if you would like anything else !! Oh yea!! I didn't mention how the prices were & there are times when you can't believe the food is that good, service is great & the prices are better then ANY other restaurant I have visited in the last 2 years !! This one surpassed my expectations by about a mile and 1/2 !! Definite " go back again " place !! 😊😊😍 Way to go you guys !! 👍👍😊 Well, I guess either management has changed or the entire staff has changed because even though thete wete 6 emty tables in the back section, we waited 7 minutes for a waiter/ server, had to listen closely & do some lip reading to hear him. Gave him a request for a few minutes to decide, and then waited about 10 minutes for him to come back ! After we gave him our request it was about 43 minutes before the biscuit basket came, 3 cornmeal & 2 flaky biscuits with 3 tiny butter drops !! The butter was about 45° & impossable to put on any of the biscuits!! Pretty close to 40 minutrs later, both of our " in a hurry" orders( said so on the menu) came & was probably the worst meal for the charged price we've ever had !! Sweet tea was more sugar then tea ! It was cold though !! Overall, I probably will never return to this one !! Oh yea, since when does ice tea cost $3.69 a glass ???????? Sorry they have fallen to such a low level !! We were not the only ones with extended wait times either !! Caught 2 other tables wanting to know why it took so long, one was a group of ten & had been waiting 45 minutes for their order ! The other , a couple, was about 40 minutes after the requested meal !! Won't stay open long with this service !!...
Read moreI look forward to this time of year when the Fried Turkey hits the menu. It was a Friday night when we ventured out, and it was quite busy as expected. We had about a 10 minute wait as a party of 2, which we had no issues with. When the food came out though (which took quite a long time from the kitchen), it was barely warm. I ended up taking mine to go, and my fiance asked to have his reheated which caused the turkey to get extremely hard and dry. It was pretty disappointing when we've been waiting since you took it off the menu last December to order it again. The waitress was great, accommodating, and as busy as they were, had a smile the entire time. I would like to speak up for two tables I noticed by the windows (2 parties of 2 each also) who both had been seated before us and ordered before us but with a different male waiter. They waited an additional 20 minutes past when we got our food, before they were brought theirs. Both tables were upset. No one came out to say anything or apologize. I mention this, because the last time we visited a few months ago ...WE were THOSE tables. Had taken almost an hour for food to come out and others who came in prior received food and even left before we received ours. That day it was so bad we were voluntarily approached by a manager and apologized to. Management should be on the floor, like they used to always be, making rounds to address concerns. I understand they're likely busting themselves in the kitchen, or elsewhere due to shortages right now, but this type of repeated problem with service can cause loss of loyal repeat local business. Whether it's a kitchen timing issue, or servers not putting orders in correctly.... Fix it. If you don't know it's broken, you can't fix it. I'm still giving 4 stars because I believe this is a staffing issue that hopefully is temporary. I'd after our next visit, we have a similar experience, I will adjust and lower my rating to reflect...
