**********TRAVELERS BEWARE*************** I travel frequently with my entire family and have never experienced anything like this hotel. Initially walking in the hotel and rooms appear clean. However, they apparently don’t do thorough cleanings between guests or even bother to check under the beds. My kids found medication, food wrappers, and socks under the bed as only children can. We went to iron our clothes and the ironing board was completely shattered. I took the broken ironing board to the desk and they replaced it with one from another room. This was a clear indication that they don’t do a thorough inspection or cleaning of the rooms for these oversights to occur. Halfway into our stay housekeeping came to clean our room and we were told that we would be charged for the sheets because my children got food stains on the sheets, and they knew they wouldn’t come out even though they never tried to wash the said sheets. Essentially we were threatened with charges because the sheets were dirty, not torn or burned but dirty. Upon checking out and requesting a receipt the man at the desk said he needed to check my room before issuing my receipt. He then asked the guests behind me what they needed, they also wanted to check out and get a receipt which he was happy to oblige without checking their room. I immediately called him on his discriminatory practice as did the other guests. The other guests then asked if they would also check their room once my room was checked. To add insult to injury he then tried to say we bent the towel bar which we did not and I began to tell him everything we found wrong with the room. He ended up confirming he would not be charging us for dirty sheets or alleged damage of the towel bar. The picnic area outside is furnished with broken picnic benches and littered with trash that was never picked up during our week long stay but apparently the guests who made the mess were charged for it according to the man at the desk. Last, the washer and dryer on sight are subpar. You are charged $2.00 to dry clothes for 40 minutes and it does not dry the clothes… at all. If you are going to stay here be sure to thoroughly inspect the room and take pictures just as you would with any rental.

I have never left a hotel due to poor conditions. I did this time. We went to check in around 4pm and were informed that the room we had booked, and confirmed 3 days earlier, had been given away to another group. We were the third party in line to be told this. We were given the option of moving to a new hotel or staying in a suite with a pull-out couch. We took the suite. Upon opening the door to our "non-smoking" suite we were hit with the stench of smoke and Febreeze. We asked about a room change but were informed this was the only one left. Upon further inspection of the room, we discovered we had no linens for the pullout and only 1 towel. I then did a closer inspection of the room. The couch and ottoman were horribly stained. The walls were dinged up badly. Then I found a piece of cat/dog food on the floor of the "no pet policy" hotel. Looked closer and there was dirt and fibers all over the floor. The tables and surfaces had obvious smears and stains all over. Hair and something unidentifiable were in the drawers. When I called to complain, I was told housekeeping was gone for the day but they could deal with it in the morning. Ick. On a side note, when my husband was at the front desk trying to get towels, the woman next to him was demanding new bedlinens as the ones current on her bed had blood on them - not from her. Finally, I noticed there were only 3 pillows for our party of 4. When I called to ask for another pillow, I was told they were all out. I informed them we were leaving. They did comp a room for 1 night out of our 3 at another hotel, but the rate at the hotel they put us in was $40/night more expensive. After some pushing, the Microtel and the other hotel negotiated a better rate for us. When we got to the new hotel they told us they had 11 rooms from Microtel and that they do this all the time. If you don't mind the filth, the pool was a decent area, although there were only 3 pool towels on the rack. Just be prepared that even if you book a room there, the chances of you not staying there seem pretty high.

I was really not expecting much for the price however I was super surprised by the quality of the room I was given. It was super cleaned and services every day I was there. The bed were very comfortable and check in and out was a breeze! I will definitely book here again in the future!!! The breakfast offered is quick and light and the waffles were amazing.

Terrifying experience for a group of children. I witnessed the worst customer service I have seen to date at this hotel. I HIGHLY advise you to consider booking elsewhere. We were invited to a child's birthday party. When we arrived, we asked the front desk where the party was. They gave us the room number and told us they were at the pool. All of the children were having a great time. During the party, there must have been a shift change. The new desk clerk came to the pool and screamed at the top of his lungs with so much anger, you would have thought someone stole something from him. He yelled directly at the children, "Get out of the pool NOW." Everyone get out of this hotel. This is not a party place." All of the children were terrified. As they tried to get out of the pool, some were in tears, and others were confused. The party was pre-approved 2 weeks in advance. The clerk never came down and asked for an adult to speak with, he just came into the area yelling. He called the police as well before he ever came down. All of this happened in a matter of moments. When guests went to speak with a manager, they said there were too many people compared to the number of rooms purchased. When they asked how many rooms were needed, so they could be purchased, they were told they could not purchase the rooms, because they wanted them to leave. We have pictures of how clean we left the place. No one was clowning around, no one was breaking any pool rules, there was no drinking, or foul language. It was just kids having fun. If it was a family reunion and 20 rooms were booked, they all could swim together if they wanted to, but they would not allow more rooms to be purchased. I was completely disappointed in how this was handled, and mostly that they kicked a 7 year old child out of her party. Not even the birthday girl and her family of 6 were permitted to stay at the hotel in their two rooms already purchased. This situation could have been handled in a completely different way. If, for whatever reason, the staff changed their minds and decided they wanted the guests to leave, they could have spoken with the guest that booked the rooms and allowed them to end the party. The way it was handled was completely out of line. Even the officers were offering to escort them over to...

My family and I did not like it, it made us a dirty place, the only thing that looked clean was the lobby and reception, but the elevator was disgusting to get into it and touch the buttons completely dirty the carpets on the floors of the Rooms looked dirty, the cushions of the armchair that was adapted in the window very dirty, the rooms are very small, they are not made for a family of four as they commercialize it, on the internet it said that it would bring a coffee machine to the room, this was not like that, to bathe there was only a small shampoo and a small soap, the television never had a signal many problems for the internet. The stained sheets seemed that they had been used by the previous guests and they were not clean sheets, it also said that it included continental breakfast, which they were packets of a bottle of water, a small juice, some muffins, a cookie and you could make yourself a coffee if you wanted. very noisy since the noises from the previous rooms seemed to be inside the same room where I was. We parked exactly outside in the first place of the back door of the hotel there was a lot of garbage on the floor the door was very dirty, When I reserved the internet there well in the filters I chose the option of hotels that were more careful with the Covi19 issue but apart from the fact that those who attended you at the reception were not friendly, none of them wore face masks I did not see staff with face masks and this was done to me worrying since in a hotel, many people circulate, I thought that the price they charged me was because I did it again from these hotel pages and that it was a special price but really for $ 30 more I would have gone to a much better hotel. I think this hotel should charge less, I really would not give this hotel any star, nor would I recommend it In my opinion it was more a Motel than a Hotel, even if it was Micro, the staff or was professional and they did not wear clothes that represented the hotel, for example a shirt with the company logo, you did not know who was a guest and who worked there, very misaligned those who worked there. When we told the person at the reception that there was never a signal on the television, he did not know what to say, we are already urged to get out of there, we cannot...
