I have never in my entire life Been treated with more disrespect or lied too than at the best buy in Canton.l am a. senior citizen on disability and the product did not work and I went back 9x ,set appointments with Geek Squad. When they realized they could not fix it. After the eighth visit , they sent me to chapel hill twice , which was a big inconvenience. They could not fix it. And then they asked me to come back another ninety mile trip period. I was and they just said well, I speculate. This phone is okay the manager said. After informing me he was an MMA guy. Which seemed for intimidation purposes in my opinion, But I want everyone to know that I spent 30 hours on the phone with the Philippines, India and guatemalaand out of 28 calls 2 people. Tried a little even though they were overseas to know avail. They asked me to leave and move my Paper at the Geek Squad., Because they said they couldn't spend all day working on my phone and I said. So you're asking me to move , so you can fix someone else's stuffdon't you think you should work on mine first. The assistant manager Josh Saed. We're not in business to service phones. We are in business to sell. We used to be able to take the time , but it was taking too much time from our sales crew because people were asking questions. I said well wouldn't that be good service just to helpful he said no. This piece of garbage. It doesn't work because of what They did. I am contesting this and have called the Attorney General. These 2 stores at least are places where sales is the most important. And the customer is the least important. Because nobody would talk to me the way that these guys did and nobody would lie to me time after tinstead of just. Helping me resolve what they did not what I did what they did period. In my opinion, these 2 best buys are 2 of the worst stores to buy anything that I have ever Too. The disrespect the lack of concern that I needed the phone I had 2 members of my family in the hospital and opposite states one died. I inform them. I need the phone to find out about the health and look into portals in my mail. Which somehow linked to something else I don't know. They had some reason they could not figure it out. Which is not my problem because I'm not selling the product. Read moreI have never been more angry with a customer service experience in my entire life. We ordered a fridge and a range through the Pacific Kitchen and Home department. We decided on a Monday to have them delivered, which was 8 days after we ordered them. Every time I checked my order status online, it said they were on schedule. I got a phone call the day before with a time window that was 9:30-11:30 the very next day. We got up early and waited, but our appointment was missed. I called the store and they checked into it and told me that my range was delayed until Wednesday. I was obviously frustrated at that point, because I didn’t receive any kind of notification. Then, they told me that it appeared there was a mixup at the warehouse and because our range was delayed, they just decided not to deliver the fridge either. Once again, we did not receive ANY kind of notification- phone call or email- about this. We asked to talk to the manager because the exact fridge and stove we ordered were in the store at that moment. We were contemplating renting a truck and just doing it ourselves, but they gave us a hard time about it because they apparently never do that. Finally they said we could, but they told us to call the escalation department first because they should be able to compensate us for our troubles and get us rescheduled ASAP. I called and spoke to two women who told me that because of the mixup, their was a hold on our items and our appointment wouldn’t even be able to be rescheduled for 24-48 hours. They did, however, offer us a $50 BEST BUY gift card for our troubles. She said “well, it’s better than nothing”. At that point we were fuming because we were going to have to rent a truck, and after this fiasco, we never want to shop at Best Buy again. Finally, we rented a truck and picked up our appliances. Mason, the only employee who was really trying to help us find a solution, was able to offer us a nicer fridge for the same price, for which we were grateful. We were told that even though it was an open box fridge, they had inspected it and it looked brand new. Mind you- the other fridge we ordered was an open box item as well, but we didn’t find anything visibly wrong with it. When we got home and unwrapped it, we found a huge dent in the front door and some scratches and scuffs. Because we weren’t able to check it out before we got home, we were not happy. Read moreI bought a new Samsung 9 + smartphone at Best Buy in North Canton Ohio on Oct 29th and on the 16th day following my purchase I saw a an advertisement on Facebook for Best Buy that the phone was $300 off. The deal I got was $250 off. So I immediately contacted the store spoke with the rep that sold me the phone and asked if I could get the additional $50 off. He told me he had been promoted to another department and that I should ask for Tonya the manager in the cell department and see if she would give me the credit or refund for $50. I spoke with Tonya and she told me it was a Verizon special and she couldn't do anything about it and I said that I thought that it was a Best Buy special and she said well it is but I can't do anything past 14 days. I understood that the phone had to be returned within 14 days but I felt that since I was making such a large purchase through Best Buy when I could have just used my insurance through Asurion to get a another phone for $200 that perhaps she might make an exception period after all I buy all of my electronics and phones and accessories at Best Buy. I also buy electronics for family members as gifts from Best Buy. I waited several days and then I went directly to the store this evening to talk with the store manager. Turns out that Tonya whom I had spoken to over the phone was the manager on call. Again she told me there was nothing she could do because it was based on Verizon and again she mixed it up by saying yes it was Best Buy too but none the less she could not credit or refund me. Seems so unfair. I guess I should have been checking the website every day for sale prices. I also inquired about my other Samsung phone purchased from 3 years ago where it didn't appear that I had been given the sale price. She explained to me that it was an either $300 off purchase or the payment option over 2 years. That I must have been given the better deal. I don't see that being I was charged full price. That wasn't explained to me. I talked with multiple sales reps back then and no one could explain it to me. It doesn't make sense because that's not how the web ad at the time showed it. Needless to say at this point I'm disappointed and the fact that the price changed so quickly after I purchased it and 14 days was all the time that I had for a price change.
