If I could give the zero Stars I would! When we arrived it was late in Jacksonville and we had already booked the room we got there they try to charge us $100 extra on top of what we had already paid because it was booked from third party site that's not our fault that they let a third party book this site that they had so somehow you know Chris talked that one out but it was still headache got to our room and oh my goodness. I couldn't believe it first thing I saw was a spot on the bed so I got to look in because I don't like a dirty bed especially in a hotel room I pulled the sheets back and what do I find I find hair wood chips and nothing else but an extremely hazardous extremely gross Blood on the sheets three layers of sheets.😡 so at this point I start calling the front desk cuz to me that's extremely Biohazard to have to sleep in someone else's hair wood chips and blood after paying you a hundreds of dollars for a room to sleep in at that. So can you invite answer at the front desk so finally Chris went down there the lady comes in about 15 minutes later so she was late for her shift okay I understandable I guess so there's just nobody monitoring the hotel whatsoever because the other lady had done left and this lady was late but anyways she did not just swap our rooms she just gave Chris more sheets that were clean and a brand new top sheet that was wrapped in plastic and said that she was sorry not even an offer to come up there and change it out for us nothing so he brings it up and I had to spend almost 2 hours on our vacation time cleaning the hotel room late at night when all I wanted to do was crash because it was so nasty. I had to strip the bed the bed with alcohol wipe it all down with my gloves and all the headboard because there's stuff all over the headboard and then I wipe down the stuff that was around the bed and the bathroom where we would be because it was also filthy. That room was not worth $2 much less $100 and something dollars so I would give this a zero star if possible and I left a note for the cleaning lady and for the manager down at the desk when I gave the key back to the day since they were asking for tips was they need to be retrained the cleaners needed to be retrained and shown how to make a bed and to clean the bathroom because that was disgusting you don't just take sheets from someone else and just make the bed that's why bed bugs are spreading so rapidly so I wouldn't recommend this hotel by any means it was disgusting and I gave the opportunity with leaving my number at the front desk to the little guy for the manager to call me to make things better before I made this post do you think that manager has reached out to me absolutely not so I don't feel it as my place to clean the hotel room and I definitely don't feel like it's my place to reach out and have to talk to the manager about the situation when all I had already left my contact with every summary of the situation so I decided it was time that I give my review on Extended Stay America in Jacksonville Florida and that's that I don't recommend it.

Hello! Anyone that hasn't been here yet, you should come. Those wondering if the hotel is decent, it's far Better than decent. First, staff is very pleasant, polite and welcoming. They listen and help and are genuinely helpful. The rooms are large, clean, with a full size fridge, Stove, kitchen counter and a microwave. If you are staying for any period of time longer than a day, you can definitely appreciate the amenities. The linens are clean and comfortable. I normally wouldn't think about taking a hot bath, but the bathroom is clean and spotless, making you not wonder if it is clean or not. There are three stories, so I couldn't be happier to be granted my wish to be in the top floor. WiFi is good enough - you can't play an MMORPG, but you certainly can stream a low res Netflix movie. The location is Good :) Cracker Barrell is walking distance, Applebee's and MCD (if you are on a budget) are all 3-5 min walk. I have stayed at enough hotels in my life to say that Extended Stay is Quality at the right price. The outside also looks upkept and modern, you know that you will get something nice when you look at the exterior. A+ :D Thank You, Extended Stay!! PS: Grab'N'Go breakfast, laundry room and who can forget... Chinese food nearby!

We have stayed here for almost 3 months now. This was just posted today. (See pictures)This door goes where the pet walk area and the dumpster. Ever since we have been here we have to prop the door due to the fact that the key card don’t work. This is very inconvenient for us and as I mean is me my finance and my dog. I am a T1D and what if I need to hurry up and get to my room so I can use the restroom or I need to eat something to rise my sugar level up. This is ridiculous. Only two key cards out of the 4 work. Another thing I have brought to the front desk attention and it hasn’t been resolved. The people above us is heavy foot and walks all throughout the night. My finance and I can’t get any type of sleep. If you are not familiar with Type 1 diabetes please do some research. Sleep is important. Causes irritability and other health issues due to high sugar levels. My finance works 6 days a week. He also needs his sleep. We have worked in Hospitality before and know to take things seriously when a guest reports. Why would they put someone who is heavy foot on the second floor? On the other hand Tiffany is such a great worker. Even though she is loud she is such a people person. Tiffany always speaking and being so sweet.

I was very tired. I needed a place to stay. I have been driving for quite a while. I got on booking.com book this place. They didn't give me the option to give them any special instructions. They also left out the fact that they were gonna charge me a $100 deposit. When I got to the room? My special instructions were that I am disabled and I did not want to roam. On any floor but the 1st floor their elevator was broken. The young lady working there was overwhelmed. Everybody was calling and coming in. And I just decided to hate not deal with it. Go up to the you, some speak so. Finally sleep cthen. I woke up due to paying issues. And you're the morsel since I have to climb stairs. So I want to go to my car to get some things. Then then, at 7 o'clock or 7:30 AM in the morning. I got locked out of my room. The staff had gotten off of work in the manager.Didn't get there until nine o'clock so here it is myself waiting to get a key card that will let me back in the room unacceptable I was very tired. Didn't get there until 9 o'clock, so here it is myself waiting to get a key card that will let me back in the room unacceptable. Then there was another lady. There who was staying there for an extended. Stay said that she had come at the same time to the front. Desk every Friday to pay her fee for the room and she goes to the every Friday. So we're out there standing there for a couple hours till the manager comes in. Extended stay does not have any type of 24 hour phone assistance. No one to call in case of an emergency. I called the police. And told them that I was disabled and you know I had medicines and stuff in that room. I needed to get in there and I was excessively tired because I didn't get enough sleep when the manager came in. I asked her if she can count me you know another night because of the fact that I lost so much time dealing with these people nope. First, she said, 15% didn't win down to 10%. And I told her I would call corporate. Oh, you don't have to do that but you don't if you want. I said well, if you could rectify the problem, then I'll just leave it up to you. But she did not. She's too busy breaking down the call fixing. She's too busy doing anything but getting back with me expeditiously. It's hor both.|| And it's only unacceptable. The place is very dark at night. It's Erie, you just get the feeling I did that. It's got to be alligators around in that pond and it's so dark. I mean, forget about it.You can run off the road and run into the pond very easily.Because how can you see?||It's very I'm professionalism. The elevator broke, you don't get the full scope. Elevate a broken 2 dark. You don't get the full scope of what you're getting to you. Get there booking.com. And priceline, you should be ashalady to take an attitude and still didn't return my depost. Unbelievable, no no. There should not be a gap when nobody's at that front desk. Especially when it's around time to check out. When that girl at night leaves, the manager needs to be available for oncall. Emergencies, not come in 2 hours after the night manager leaves. Priceline and booking.com should be very, very ashamed because they are 1 Anda 2 same entities. The place is too dark. They kept my deposit well. They said it would be return. I wasn't even expecting that I would have to pay a deposit and all they do is say. Oh well, we keep notifying that they shouldn't be. Not telling the customer that they have to pay a deposit when they get there. So a lot of lies unacceptable unacceptable. Stay elsewhere if you get the chance. Because you won't be satisfied. With the outcome really? And I'm learning that the reviews that people post to mostly people of their friends. Because you're not getting a true sense and to until you get there of what you're getting into. But who gets locked out of their room when check out? Is at 11. You get locked out. At 7 in the morning. What in the world is really going on with these people and they're...

My boyfriend and I were visiting a hospitalized family member for a weekend in Jacksonville (from April 3rd through April 6th 2015). We have never been the high-class type to stay in 5-star resorts, and we are easy going people; pretty simple to please. Exhausted from sitting in a cold hospital room all day, we were happy to find that this Extended Stay had rooms available. Apparently there was a fair in town and on Easter weekend, many of the hotels were booked. The woman at the front desk was very nice, and applied a AAA discount to our room. The room still came to over $70 a night, not cheap to us at all. The room was supposed to have a King bed (we did not request a king, however we were told the room HAD a King in it). The room ended up having a queen bed. No big deal, like I said we are easy going people and can fit on a Queen just fine. What we were NOT happy with was the fact that we specifically requested a non-smoking room and our room smelled like a chain-smoker was sitting inside! We were in the room for 5 minutes before needing to grab some food. In those 5 minutes we managed to smell like smokers! Smells from other rooms and the hallway were penetrating through our walls. We smelled everything from smoke, to ketchup, to weed, to babypowder!! The carpets were filthy and there was trash under our bed from a previous occupant! The first night in the room I was able to snap two pictures of roaches crawling on the walls. The bath towels had human hair on them that was clearly not ours, and there was hair in the tub! The toilet was clogged when we got into the room- luckily it unclogged itself after three flushes- but that should not have been there! There were cigarette butts in the elevator and stairwell. The "grab and go" breakfast was practically empty at 7:30am everyday and breakfast was till 9:30am, but it was not getting replenished. As we were dealing with an ill family member other things were more important than trying to move rooms or 'pitch a fit' at the front desk staff. Upon our departure I had planned a kind way to address these issues with the front staff. I was happy to see "Jovette" (the manager as I read on the business card) would be checking us out. I waited for a "How was your stay?" line to discuss our concerns. It didn't happend. She took our room keys and said "ok, thank you" as she turned back towards the laundry area behind the front desk. We are not the type of couple to scam or cry for free stuff, but I feel like we SEVERELY overpaid to stay...
