Mattress Firm State Line 89th — Hotel in Kansas City

I have to amend my review below because the follow up when I had an issue was non existent. Upon delivery, the Mattress Firm delivery people said I was missing velcro straps for my mattress. I called my sales person Annette, who as I wrote below did a great job in the sales process. She said she was busy with customers and I didnt really need the velcro, but promised to call me back. Three months later, I never did hear from Annette. On top of that, the non-refindable adjustable base has stopped adjusting. I have no recourse since it was sold at half price and is non-refundable but it seems it should have never been offered at any price if it would quit working so soon. I'll leave my original review of Mattress Firm below to provide context but suffice it to say, I don't feel that way anymore because of the lack of follow up and the defective adjustable base. I guess the lesson is dont leave a review until you've had the product for a while or test their follow up and service.

My son and I stopped in to purchase a king size bed frame. I just moved and altho I no longer have the king mattress I still have the box springs. My new bedroom really isn’t spacious enough for the king bed but since I already had the springs I thought I would just stick with the size. Wes was very helpful in educating us on the newer technologies and explaining that my use of my box springs would actually not be compatible with the newer mattresses. I loved my original mattress and thought I would stay with the brand. Wes asked questions about my sleeping habits and position and I volunteered information about physical maladies that are directly related to pressure points and the need for comfort. He helped me find a more appropriate choice to address my needs. I left the new owner of a bed frame and Queen mattress which will give me added room in my bedroom and added comfort. I am very pleased and look forward to having the new bed arrive before Christmas! Wes did not pressure me at all, there was no “hard sell”, he simply provided his knowledge and expertise and allowed me to make my own decisions. We came in with one goal to buy a Purple Mattress. My wife and I wanted to try it before pulling the trigger online. Stefanie spoke with us and was excited to have us try it. We actually found that we didn’t like it. We asked about some other options and she throughly explained it to us by asking us the right questions. At no point did we feel pressured to make a decision and she let us try half the store lol. She explained and answered our questions and worked within our budget. She was sweet with our 6 year old daughter who was more excited then expected at the mattress store.
