We placed an order on Wednesday for 92 subs to be delivered at 11:30am on Saturday July 12. I confirmed the day prior. The order did not arrive until 12:20 - 50 minutes past the requested time. We were given the excuse of construction, although they didn't leave their store until noon. This was really inconvenient when you have 80+ people waiting for lunch and a limited amount of time for a lunch break. We were more concerned when we discovered the gluten-free box lunches included cookies that had gluten. We specifically ordered boxed lunches without cookies as they don't offer gf cookies. I've tried twice to contact the store to discuss the problems. Both times I spoke with a manager (not the store manager) who was unhelpful at best. He gave a couple excuses for the delay first saying it was a last minute order, which it was not, then saying he didn't work that day. This is when he clarified he is a manager, but not the store manager and could not tell me when the store manager would be in the store to address the issue. Same result on the second call. I cannot find information about who the owners are to contact them. Hoping someone can follow up. I've liked the food at Firehouse, but would certainly not recommend them based on their complete lack of concern for customer service. Told me she was exhausted from working open to close. Maybe I'm just unsympathetic because the restaurant isn't even opened 12 hours. When I was an assistant manager at a restaurant working open to close was a pretty common thing with the hours being from 5a.m. to 12a.m. I don't know. Just really not what I was expecting when I come in to get food. The sandwiches are okay, the attitude of the workers is less than impressive. I'm am the only person in the store right now customer wise, I just heard the workers say something about an online order.. then state that it can just sit there. Just ridiculous. Read moreI usually eat at this firehouse two times a week at minimum so today I got a roast beef sandwich. Which the bread wasn’t right. I usually get wheat bread. He put it on white bread and then I called him after I got back to the store. I’m a manager at target not only did. I tell him it tasted like it was spoiled the young lady that worked there told me it was beyond the date, and then the young man answered the phone the second time and told me he had thrown out the meat, but he tasted the meat and said it was OK. My question is why did it have to be thrown out??? not only did I return the sandwich which I paid $15 for I didn’t get my money back or a sandwich remade.
