Casa Loca — Hotel in Key West

Excellent central location right off Duval St. with a great layout for a small group. I came with a family group of 7 (including 2 small kids). Casa Loca is on a quieter stretch off of Duval away from all the bars and rowdiness which is a good thing, yet only a 5-7 minutes walk from all the action.

Plenty of sitting and dining space and a full kitchen in this house. The house comes with plenty of pool and bath towels as well as 2 separate washer/dryer combos for separate towels so everything doesn’t stink of chlorine. There’s also free WiFi, plenty of pool chairs and a Weber bbq grill (which we didn’t use). House has a great layout, especially if you have younger kids traveling with you. The pool is more of a plunge pool and kind of on the small side. However, the entire pool is about 5.5 feet deep so it was very usable. Half the pool also gets a good amount of shade throughout the day as well if you don’t mind that.

As for the cons, the mattresses need a serious update in this house....very thin and soft and hard to get some great sleep. Also, the pool had a few broken tiles in the bottom which def need some TLC. Overall the house has a bit of wear.
