I honestly wish i could give this business zero stars. I booked a room for the end of April. Two days after i booked i found out i was exposed to Covid. Out of respect for the world, i tried to cancel my reservation so i could take proper precautions. I called and spoke to the front desk employee (trish i believe). I explained my situation and she told me that i was unable to get a refund because their refund policy is within 14 days and my trip was 12 days out. She was extremely rude and unpleasant to speak with. I asked to speak to a manager but she was not in. I called twice the next day to speak to the manager but no one answered the phone. The third day of trying to reach them i got a call from Liz, the manager. Liz aggressively started the conversation by telling me their cancelation policy is posted all over everything! She was even more aggressive and rude than the first person. I understand and respect business policies but during a global pandemic I would expect a little more grace and flexibility. Liz finally agreed to refund my money but she would be taking a $35 cancellation fee out of that amount. I was perfectly fine with that, i felt like that was fair. I thanked her even though she was extremely rude and unprofessional. After hanging up, i checked my bank statement to find that she took $40 not $35. It’s the principal. I love the keys it’s like a second home to me, so I’m extremely disappointed that i experienced this kind of customer service. Do...

I was a bit worried about sharing a bathroom but they were very nice, so clean and it really just felt like being at home ...just missing some soaps and baby wipes :)
The lovely Host, Bella, was absolutely awesome: kind, friendly, informative and welcoming!
The bed was comfortable and the room was beautiful (front room by the balcony). The room was well appointed and uncluttered: not a large room but was decorated perfectly, had so many windows with sunshine streaming in seemingly all directions and the ceilings were so high that the room felt spacious.
I felt safe walking around the house in the middle of the night by myself. The place feel safe and comfortable at all hours.
Breakfast was homemade, DELICIOUS, DECADENT, and I'm still daydreaming about the cakes and [surprisingly] the key lime granola.
Such a superb location; close enough to everything so that its just a short walk anywhere, but far enough away that I was not disturbed a single time.
I would make a singular suggestion: it would be helpful to have a modest extension cord by the bed on the entrance side of the bedroom to be able to plug in chargers or a flat iron, for example. The electrical outlet is behind the bed and is difficult, well, impossible to reach. The other electrical outlet is already used by the AC and the lamp.
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE AND CANNOT WAIT TO...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed at the Key West B and B for a week in July 2014 and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we checked in we were greeted by a friendly staff who gave us a tour of the whole house and gave us coupons for things we had planned on doing. The house is beautiful with three stories, a small pool, and a shaded garden for eating breakfast. The breakfast is amazing and filling. Fresh fruit, a homemade pastry, artisan bagels, coffee, and more. They also have a hammock on the second floor balcony overlooking William Street. We stayed on the third floor back room and had our own private balcony. The best part about staying at a guesthouse is that whenever we had a question, Liz, Jess, or Tricia were easily able to answer it. If we wanted Cuban food, they had several suggestions including what the locals preferred. If you wanted to go snorkeling, they had gear that you could use for free! The house is also in a great location with only a few blocks to the marina or Duval street. We highly recommend the Key West Bed and Breakfast to anyone travelling there for a night or a month! You can't beat the...
