I give it two stars for these reasons; one for it being a kava bar and the others for it being in Key West. The building is unique and decorations cute, it's a good place for new comers to the Kava Community, to be seduced by extracts and the lowest grade kava in the industry. "Tudei" Kava! They over charge and underserve their kava. Even tho it lists a variety of kava (premium, Vanuatu, etc) they primarily serve the lowest grade Solomon at Premium rates.. I'm from St Pete FL and have been in Key West since 2018. There was zero kava bars. I was excited for this place to open 3 years before they got their permits. Since my first visit to my last , I have waisted tons of my money, just to be disappointed, hell I even worked there 6 months to build a nighttime vibe and encourage locals (I fought for a straight year to get a ā€œlocals discountā€ made available (when they did they raised their prices and increased the suggested gratuities in TOAST POS to be 30% and higher) also damaged my gut health (sometimes the roots in the kava still or they spoon off the top and it's all water no kava). Those of us in the real "Kava Culture " promote Noble Kava and served in traditional ways, avoiding Extracts, instant , and or micronized kava. The root has to be strained out and these other methods are just not good. Phrases like "Drink Love", "Better than Booze" , "Respect the Root" have been reduced to just marketing slogans and cheap gimmicks here. Find out for yourself! Bula Bula PS "Bula is a fajian word used in many kava ceremonies as Bula- Bula , as a toast meaning "to long life and good health " . Traditional serving sizes are called "shells" as they use coconut shells, at 4oz per single serving ( 8oz for a DBL , 12 oz triple, and 16oz Quads) here they subvert the word Bula to mean a Bowl , you put anything in to toast, and unless you get a Togo cup, it's hard to spot the amount served. *pay attention* Every DoorDash order is messed up. My last one was supposed to be 32 oz I even text first. When they failed , they blamed me for using DoorDash , said it was an optical illusion based on cup sizes, then banned me from coming in.. Make your own decision, & trust your Guts!

Over the past few years I've had the pleasure of spending a great deal of time at Kava Culture Key West, and since day 1 have been served by Wyatt, one of the most exceptional Kavatender's on staff. From the moment I stepped in nearly 2 years ago, Wyatt's welcoming, friendly, and service-oriented demeanor stood out. His expertise in kava and kratom was evident as he skillfully guided me through the menu over the past few years, offering personalized recommendations based on my preferences and curiosity. What really sets Wyatt apart is his genuine interest in ensuring each guest have a memorable experience with each visit. His friendly conversation and insights into the benefits and nuances of kava and kratom make each and every visit not just a beverage stop, but also an educational and entertaining. The atmosphere at Kava Culture is relaxed and inviting, thanks in large part to Wyatt's professionalism and warmth. He represents the best of what Kava Culture has to offer - a place where anyone can feel at home. For anyone visiting Key West, a stop at Kava Culture is a must, and make sure to say hello to Mr. Wyatt. His passion for kava and kratom, and his dedication to customer service will undoubtedly make your visit as delightful as mine. An easy 5-star experience!

During my recent weekend getaway to Key West, I had the pleasure of discovering the tranquil oasis that is Kava Culture Kava Bar. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a serene and welcoming atmosphere that instantly put me at ease.

The staff at Kava Culture were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, guiding me through their menu of kava and kratom drinks with patience and expertise. I opted for a traditional kava drink, which was expertly prepared and delivered a soothing and calming effect that was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the island.

The ambiance of the kava bar was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating options and a laid-back vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy my drink. The decor was tasteful and thoughtfully curated, adding to the overall sense of tranquility and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

In addition to the exceptional drinks and ambiance, I was impressed by the variety of events and activities offered at Kava Culture, from live music performances to yoga classes and open mic nights. It's clear that this kava bar is not just a place to enjoy a drink, but a community hub where locals and visitors alike can come together to connect and unwind.

Overall, my experience at Kava Culture Kava Bar was nothing short of delightful. The combination of friendly staff, delicious drinks, and peaceful ambiance made it the perfect retreat during my weekend getaway in Key West. I highly recommend stopping by Kava Culture for a relaxing and...

Great set up, beautiful chill environment šŸ‘Œ comfortable layout of furniture, good selection of books, excellent explanation of kava and options on menu. They even have an art wall 🧱 , that you can draw on dope right! It's even located in a more quiet area with an organic shop next door and a coffee shop across the street. The actual place isn't the problem at all, the staff in this place have to be about the most uppity, and tight people I've ever met like how a vegetarian thinks they're better than meat eaters. I understand the dynamics of how a business works, but I don't typically enjoy kava nor I believe it does anything. To me anyway. But I like to come and do my reading and writing there which I was told I could do even if I didn't buy anything. And I buy the chips. (There actually At least that's what nick told me I was allowed to do.. anyway, this woman didn't Great me , ask how was my day, if I knew anything about kava, if I'd like to come in and sit down from the minute she walked up to was like her sole focus was to get me to leave. . .but why? She was treating me like a homeless guy who comes and sleeps on their property when they aren't open. Mind you, I've been to this bar in multiple accusations sometimes I don't but anything. Another employee is rude to me because I'm friends with her girl friend Mickey, which was my first bests friend years before this bar tender moved here. GET A MORE...
