Great hotel!! The palms and tropical plants all around are seriously just breathtaking! We walked around a lot and this was the best hotel we saw. It's a short walk to Duval street, and street parking here was easy. We were right in front of the hotel. Parking on Duval, on the other hand, was a nightmare! So stay here. We considered some of the bigger expensive luxury hotels, and when we arrived this place was so much nicer!!! The luxury places just took photos with angles that made them look nicer, but the buildings were dirty and stained in person. Travelers palm was immaculate, the pool is beautiful, and the shower is HUGE and stunning! We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again upon our next trip to Key West. Stop looking at reviews... I researched everything and then compared in person to see how we did... This place is the one you want to stay at!!!! Don't go to the photoshopped expensive "luxury" hotels, they aren't as beautiful and private! Walk out the door to your own...
Read moreWe stayed here one night and it was very clean. When I booked, I didn’t know it was AirBNB style, and if I did, it may have affected my decision. There was no parking, and when we returned to the property around 7pm, we couldn’t park near it and had to leave our car a few blocks away. We stayed in studio 4. What was very off-putting was a door that lead to a suite. A different group of People were staying in this suite, and the door didn’t lock. So I could open the door and walk into their suite whenever I wanted, and they could walk into my room. It was uncomfortable leaving my luggage there. We moved the nightstand in front of the door to feel more comfortable while we slept. We could hear their conversations, and them making dinner in the kitchen. It felt like I rented a room in someone’s home, when I was expecting more of a hotel, or else I would have just booked an AirBNB. Other than that, it seemed like a very cute, comfortable...
Read moreThe room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and beautiful. The pool was lovely as well. From what I hear, we were super lucky to find parking near by. However, if you stay here, I would highly recommend you pack your ear plugs and eye masks. The shades in the rooms barely keep out the light and the walls are paper thin. While we stayed in Royal Palm Studio, the adjoining room was to the Royal Palm Suite. The couple that stayed in the suite were quite rambunctious the first couple nights of their visit, which is absolutely fine, but we could hear everything. And when I say everything. I mean EVE-RY-THING. And I would assume with us leaving early mornings for several excursions (Dry Tortugas, Parasailing, flight, etc), they could hear everything we were up to in the mornings. We were excited to find El Siboney within the block, which was a Cuban place our friends highly recommended we stop by, which we did several times...
