Groovy Rooster Tattoo Company — Attraction in Key West

By far, and by "far" I mean by lightyears: Public Ink is the best shop, the best experience, the best work, and the best artists I have EVER encountered anywhere. When I say "anywhere" I'm referring to every single business, big or small; and not just Tattoo shops.

I took my besties, Amber and Ashley to Public Ink to get friendship tattoos for Ashley's birthday. We all decided that we were not going to go to any of what I refer to as a "Tattoo Mills" like Chaos or InkLink. And I am so so so very glad we went to Public Ink.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by all of the artists there; Danielle, Chantel, and Eddie. Danielle and Eddie did our work and they're AMAZING! So I'm assuming that Chantel is a badass artist as well. These guys professional yet fun and are perfection personified. We are all stoked about our tattoos and have already been discussing what we're going to get next!

I can't tell you guys enough how talented you guys are. I will absolutely be telling EVERYONE about Public Ink, especially if I hear them talking about wanting some work done.

As for myself: I will be coming back very soon! You guys rock and I'm so happy for the privilege to have met you guys and were able to get these badass tattoos!

I wouldn't be surprised if Public Ink were to be declared "Best Tattoo Shop in NC" or even "....on the east coast." I'd vote for you!

My husband and I have wanted to do "matching" tattoos for a few years during anniversary trips. The timing either wasn't right, we didn't find the right design/artist/vibe, etc. We researched a lot before coming to Key West and decided to visit the Groovy Rooster. We went in several days prior to our tattoos to talk with Eddie and Danielle, they were awesome! Booked right then for the day we were heading back to Miami. While we got "matching" tattoos, they worked with us to fit the designs individually. This is a place that sincerely cares about your experience, your story and isn't going to just run you through the process when you're a tourist. Danielle was great about explaining why certain areas (Wrist, lower ankle, etc) weren't great places to put a tattoo..when others really don't care what your ink looks like once you go back home.

Pricing was great, the actual process was as painless as possible, they are a great couple who will make sure you get what you are...

If you want to get beautiful tattoos in Key West, this IS the place!!! We had walked in and discussed our ideas, and Edward was kind enough to fit us in that day. When we went back, his wife Danielle was so nice and put together such lovely tattoos for us! My aunts and mother got matching tattoos, they wanted small palm trees, and they came out so wonderful. They were really happy with their tattoos, and Danielle was super quick with each one and did an awesome job. I wanted a small turtle and I'm beyond satisfied with the result. It's so adorable and I fell in love with it the second I saw it finished. The details in the shell are absolutely amazing! Danielle and Edward are such kind, considerate, and great all-around people and you can tell that they truly care and have passion for what they do. I highly recommend...
