4-16-25, Another great visit to our favorite restaurant. As always, great food. For the 1st time, I tried the beef brisket with potato pancakes. My wife had one of their delicious salads. We also took home with us the chopped salad for a friend of ours Jasmyn took great care of us.

3-1-25 My wife and I stopped in to have a nice supper. She had the turkey dinner, and I had the everything salmon. Both are absolutely delicious. Ashley took great care of us as our waitress.

2-17-25 Today I stopped in and had a nice "little lunch". Jasmyn took great care of me.

11-2-24 It is really hard to drive by without stopping here to eat. We had a great lunch and of course wonderful desserts. Ainsley took great care of us just as she has done a number of times previously.

October 28, 2024 We stopped in again yesterday. I couldn't help myself. I had the salmon platter again and for dessert, some coconut macaroons. Once again, Ashley took great care of us. Plus, we were able to use our 25% off discount card.

September 26, 2024 Last time I was here I saw someone enjoying the salmon platter. This time, I ordered it myself and it was truly delicious. My wife had their homemade chicken salad sandwich. Sydney took great care of us.

September 19, 2024 We had a wonderful lunch. I had the special chopped salad. Absolutely delicious and huge. Ashley took great care of us.

August 17, 2024

We are beginning to stop at Toojay's more often lately. Really had a taste for their special liver and onions. Taylor, our waitress, took care of great care of us and got everything just right.

Had a major desire for chicken soup!!! Nicole brought me two big bowls. When in doubt, go for what works.

September 22, 2019 Oh my gosh! Dinner for two for $26. What a deal!

November 18, 2019 My wife and I got to use a another coupon. The restaurant was very busy and everybody was having a good time.

Our waiter, Bryce, really took good care of us. The rugalah for dessert was outstanding.

1-10-20 Kelly took great care of us. My wife had the special soup and sandwich. The nova and whitefish platter speaks to me as soon as I walked in the door. Coconut cake shared between the two of us topped off the meal.

3-12-20 With all of the uncertainty at the present time, we came to TooJay's to buy some things for us to have at home. The staff has been wonderful.

On that same visit, we had a wonderful dinner. Gina took great care of us.

I feel were going to be doing a lot of take-out orders in the days to come.

July 31, 2024

We have eaten here four times in the last two weeks. We love the new menu. Every time we go, they have specials for us to choose from. Ainsley and Kat always take...

I wasn’t going to post this but after much consideration, I really think its necessary to post my experience at the Lake Mary TooJays. Let me start by saying I loved TooJays, it was our family spot and we went often. A few months ago I ordered a Rachel sandwich and as usual asked for Sauerkraut on the side for takeout. Myself and at the time my 11 month old son were sharing the sauerkraut (I love Sauerkraut so I was eating directly from the little cup). All of a sudden while I was a few bites in, I realized there was something blue under the sauerkraut. It was BLUE CHEWED UP GUM!!!! There were literal food particles in the blue gum. I immediately called the store. I was shaking from all the emotions I was feeling. I was so incredibly disgusted and nauseous. Even thinking of it today makes me sick. The manager was apologetic and told me they would be investigating. I immediately sent him pictures and even asked if he wanted the gum sample. I was told I would receive a call from the GM and possibly regional manager (this never happened). The call I received was from risk management in their corporate office. She informed me they have a rule against chewing gum so they are interviewing and reviewing tapes but they were not “big brother” and did not have camera views of the entire kitchen. She called me a couple of days later and told me they didn’t find anything on camera and because they do not make their own sauerkraut and because their employees all denied chewing gum (duh), they were going to say it came from the Sauerkraut manufacturer and wasn’t their fault. I don’t care where the gum came from, I bought it from them with my food. If they missed blue gum in my food, what else are they missing? My 11 month old son could have eaten this and chocked. I was passed on to their insurance company representative who told me she was playing months long game of phone tag with the manager to complete their investigation. Never did I ask for any form of compensation, claim any false medical expenses or ailments. All I wanted was accountability. After months and months, I finally received a call from the insurance company saying they are not accepting any responsibility because it was take out. All of that for that answer. I know there are malicious people out there that would make stuff like this up. I’m not sure why they thought I would lie or make this up if I wasn’t even asking for anything. I am forever traumatized by this experience. I will never step foot in this place again and neither will any of my friends or family that hear this...

We have been regular Sunday customers for the past 2 1/2 years, always top quality! The Sunday servers are always outstanding as they are friendly, cheerful, kind, professional and attentive to their customers. We feel like family! However, we had a very disappointing experience this past Sunday on Father's Day! We arrived at 11:00 AM to avoid the Father's Day rush as my Dad is in a wheelchair. To our surprise, there was a line of people inside plus people waiting outside. Approaching the host to give our name, we were told it may be a 20 -25 min wait as they were short staffed. Well, Dad's hot pastrami is worth waiting for! After waiting 30 min there were more people waiting in line than there were seated in the dining room. We were then told that the kitchen had received a $4,000 To Go order that needed to be prepared for 3:00 pm pick up. It is our opinion that management made a poor management decision in prioritizing a late phone order before serving their loyal customers already there & making them stand & wait. There were numerous people who left because of the line. In addition, the servers who were scheduled to work on Sunday lost out on many tips as the host was told not to seat any one till the kitchen caught up with the phone order, consequently loosing many tables AND tips!! We asked if we could at least be seated at one of the many empty tables while waiting to be served . NOPE! Yes, it was our choice to stay as we didn't want to disappoint my 96 yr old dad on Father's Day who looks forward to having his favorite pastrami! After an hour, we were finally seated and our outstanding server expedited our order as quickly as she could. When we asked to speak with the manager, we were told he was too busy! Poor management decisions all around for Father's Day at TooJays. The one star rating is for Management, as the food, service & atmosphere deserve 5 stars & shouldn't be penalized for poor...

My first experience at TwoJay's Deli won't be my last. Clean, inviting, and open with room for comfortable conversation and a lovely deli upfront made an amazing first impression. Getting to preview the array of mouth-watering desserts and savory sandwiches via the long deli cabinets before being seated added a lot to the experience. I had a difficult time choosing from among the menu items (but, hey, that's just incentive to come back!). Ultimately, I went with three choices I'd happily order again: Loaded Latkes (Starter) - It had me at "crispy homemade potato pancake bites." Big enough to share among three people, the appropriately named Loaded Latkes come chock-full of textures and flavors to send your taste buds into full-on craving mode. Crispy smokehouse bacon, juicy tomato slices, creamy cheddar, zesty scallions, and a dollop of sweet sour cream blend together to create a winner. Avocado BLT (Entrée) - Considered a TooJay's favorite (with reason), this BLT checks all the right boxes. Ripe, smooth avocado cuts blend well with the lemon garlic aioli for a vegetal-zesty impact. Bacon proves the real showstopper here, though, with five thick slices of smokey meatiness packing each triangular-cut sandwich. The toasted Challah bread absolutely makes it, with its rich, spongy, honey-tang for a soft, sweet finish. Banana Dream (Dessert) - I'm a chocolate aficionado by birth, but my friend encouraged me to "just trust" her and try the Banana Dream instead. WOW! There's a reason it's currently the featured image on the official TooJay's website "Dessert" section. Imagine the softest, moistest banana bread ever, with tastebud-topping layers of cream and drizzled ribbons of milk chocolate giving it a gourmet finish. Crusted on the ends with a beautiful medley of chocolate chips and walnuts, it's--quite literally--a "dream" to savor... and comes in a massive wedge perfect for sharing!

I have eaten here two to three times a week since moving to the FEMA hotel down the street in mid October. I’m addicted to their chicken noodle soup and homemade , made fresh daily, rye bread. I am pregnant and had been craving homemade bread so as you can imagine, I was geeked to find it less then a mile from my hotel. The last two times I have stopped in there for food tho I wasn’t happy with how things went or what I got. Last week, I got charged $10 for a bowl of chicken noodle soup, that was only $6.95 on Uber Eats every time I ordered it. And $4.00 and change for four pieces of rye bread. It was almost $15 for a small soup and four small slices of bread!!!! That’s a lot more then I had paid each other time I went there or ordered from Uber eats from there. And then today I only got two pieces of bread and someone ate half of each slice. Or at least ripped half of the slice off in the center and left the top crust on each slice. How disappointing. Why would the staff member put two pieces of bread on a bag for a customer that are ripped in half, especially when that’s all the person ordered. Very dissatisfied with todays trip there. But what am I gonna do, take back the bread? Ha, that’s craziness. I don’t have the time for that lol
