We just returned from another amazing stay at Beachside Village Resort, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, Vicki was there with her warm smile, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of the entire weekend. Her kindness and attention to detail truly make it feel like coming home to family.|One of the most unique things about BVR is the incredible sense of community—not just from the staff, but from the other guests as well. Somehow, word has gotten out, and only the friendliest, kindest people seem to vacation here. This weekend, we met wonderful folks from Chicago, Boston, and New York, and shared great conversations poolside and around the resort.|Speaking of the pool—it’s spacious, pristine, and perfectly maintained. Whether you prefer relaxing in the sun or unwinding in the shade, the setup offers comfort for everyone. No loud crowds or interruptions—just pure relaxation.|Another highlight was Cafe BVR, just a short stroll from the resort. The service is outstanding, and the food was exceptional. I had the crab-stuffed Corvina, and it was absolutely 5-star. A huge thanks to Paola and Carla, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even honored our discount on a night it wasn’t technically valid—just one more example of the amazing hospitality that defines this place.|Each morning, I took a peaceful walk—just two minutes to the beach—to watch the sunrise. It’s the perfect way to start the day, with a view that’s truly unforgettable.|BVR strikes the perfect balance: intimate and friendly, yet fully equipped for a short getaway or a longer retreat. If you're looking for a serene, beautifully maintained, and genuinely welcoming beach escape—Beachside Village Resort is the place. We can’t wait...
Read moreThis review is LONG overdue! BVR is an AMAZING hotel. I can’t believe that this little slice of heaven is here. I first found this place when the house I was renting had issues with plumbing and I was forced to move out for over a week. This hotel is unlike any other I have ever been to. Including large names and “luxury” resorts. BVR has extremely clean and cozy rooms, adorable decor in each room, and a homey and comforting vibe. The staff is the epitome of what every service should aspire to be. They are caring and quick and truly happy to come to work and make this an amazing place to stay. Especially Vicky in the front, she is the sweetest and most welcoming person I think I have ever met. She treats every guest like family and creates a loving and fun environment from the moment she greets you.
Along with the amazing service and clean rooms, the grounds of the hotel are always kept with immaculate attention to detail, the environment immediately calms you. They also offer coffee, wines, beers, and cold water. There is thought and love put into every aspect of this resort. I have stayed here twice already and had my in-laws stay here at least three times! (My father in law is a picky man but he loves BVR).
I have also stayed at the Boat House which is offered off the resort. This house is a charming 3 bed 3 bath home with a lovely front yard and a dreamy backyard overlooking the beautiful intercoastal. This house is a hundred times better than any Airbnb in the area. It is cleaner than any Airbnb I have ever stayed at and comes with all the services of the hotel. Daily cleaning, refills of amenities, etc.
I really can’t compliment this business enough. I suggest if you’re coming to Lauderdale by the Sea or Fort Lauderdale in general you have...
Read moreMost accommodating and friendly place I have ever stayed!!! My girlfriend and I booked a "hotel room" for the weekend of June 21st. Got in around 5PM and went to the office to check in, we were immediately offered an ice cold drink, beer or wine; compliments of the resort. After getting 2 beers with a BVR koozie we were walked around the resort by a staff member, showed where everything is including the free beach chairs, bikes, kayaks and snorkel gear!! Once to the room we were given 2 free drink tokens for the local bar up the street, a buy one get on free lunch voucher and a free breakfast voucher for weekdays. Not to mention free ice cold lemon water available at both pools all day along with free coffee in the morning and sun screen all day!
We had a great time in the town and on the beach all weekend. When it came time to leave as we checked out we inquired about the other rooms since the resort offers many different styles, the lady in the office was on her way home for the day but instead offered to take us around and show us each style room they have....1 bedroom 1 bath is huge and perfect for friends or a couple.
After leaving and vowing to always come back to BVR we headed back to work on Monday. Monday morning the office at Beachside Village called to tell us they found a bathing suit in the room (one i had bought in town for $45 the day before), no worries because they offered to mail it back!
Never stayed at a place that offered so much or cared so much, i am used to the chain hotels where it always seems like staff is hiding or non existent, not at BVR, everyone is there to make your vacation enjoyable!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway or a longer...
