Stayed at this hotel for 2 years now and this is the first time we hated our experience at this restaurant. We went about 3 times during our stay and we always got the bartender Lynn. I’m not sure if she has a thing against younger people but she’s ignored us all 3 times we have been there. The first day we sat at the bar tops facing the ocean. Never came to us once. So we moved to the lower top tables because of the wind we watched her attend to every “older” person in the bar but us. We had to physically call her over. I ordered a vodka sprite and it was a soda and sprite so I asked her if it was a vodka sprite or a water and vodka which it tasted like and she told me I ordered it wrong. Which how hard is it to order a vodka sprite. Tonight we went again and it was packed. Walked up to the bar and asked the male bartender if I could order he told me he was busy and to wait a minute which i understand and he walked away she (Lynn) saw us standing there and completely ignored me knowing I was waiting patiently. She walked away from me and attending two other people who literally just walked up there as I was standing there for 10 minutes. Then a woman and her niece came and Lynn literally attended to them and ignored us again as I’m still standing there waiting to take my order. She finally asked me if the other male bartender took my order and I said no and then she walks away and attends someone else like what the heck! Never have I been treated with such disrespect. The male bartender let me order and I tried to order 4 drinks between my partner and I to take to our room and he didn’t let us as he said he didn’t know who we were going to give it to but we were literally the youngest people in there and he also didn’t card us so I mean he clearly wasn’t that concerned where the drinks were going to. Hopefully if we come next year either there’s different staff or the staff learn to respect all members of the hotel...
Read moreThis place is a major disappointment. There aren’t many spots close to the beach, but it's a shame this one has such terrible management. I arrived on Saturday, September 21 at 5 PM, went straight to the bar, and asked for a couple of beers to enjoy by the water. The older guy, who seemed like a long-time employee or owner, told me to sit down and wait for someone to come over. Fine. On my way, I witnessed a guy from the kitchen shouting, "Whose plate is this? It’s been sitting here for 20 minutes," while the staff just ignored him.
I passed dirty tables full of leftover food, found my seat, and waited. The place was only 30% full with three bartenders working, yet no one bothered to clean or take my order. I tried going back to the bar three times, and each time, they sent me back to wait. After 25 minutes of this, I rasped still dirty tables and left.
I checked the reviews before writing this, and shocker—other people have experienced the same neglect. Clearly, this shift has no place in customer service. They’re parasites ruining what could be a nice spot. Hopefully, someone who cares steps in...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We went for couple of drinks and food and nobody greeted us, we had to go to them and asked where we could sit, they told us to sit anywhere and they will bring us the menu… 10 min passed, we waived at them and nobody came, they were looking at us from the bar and still nobody came, 10 more min and we went again, they told us to sit again, a total of 20 min waiting and nobody came to even offer water… but oh they were not that busy, they even went and attend people who came after us, they serve people that came after us, they were even just talking in between waiters… it definitely felt racist, we were the only black/hispanic family and we were COMPLETELY IGNORED. The only person to actually check why we were leaving was a nice Jamaican waiter, the rest of them they...
