El Prado is a tranquil, clean, and quaint beachfront park in Lauderdale-by-the Sea within a short walk to the town center and the pier. I love it here for swimming and especially for snorkeling as the reef is a doable swim from shore. Dive groups are here often, as well. Parking lot can fill up quickly, so head out early or later in the afternoon. There are showers adjacent to the two gazebos, full-size and shorter ones for your feet, which are helpful as I always have half of Fort Lauderdale Beach inside my car! The short pathway to the beach entrance is tree lined with colorful Adirondack chairs. Aruba’s and the Beach Cafe are two good choices for lunch while you are there! Heading out tonight for the full...

It hangs low on an angle pointing towards the ground. Not sure when they installed it but it's definitely new, just would be afraid to put my baby on it because of how unstable and slanted...

I pass by it when I bike to Fort Lauderdale from Boca, and I usually take a short water break and 3 - 9 minute meditation 🧘♀️ on the return home. You can see and hear the ocean from the public seating areas. It is never crowded when I am there, but I only go once a week so it may be crowded on the weekends. They had a sign that there was a Farmer's Market on the weekend and that sounds wonderful too ! It's a...
