My parents and I ate at the restaurant twice during our stay in Lead. We had sirloin, linguine nest, onion rings (idk what the do, but best onion rings around), fish and chips, chicken fried steak and the curry. Everything exceeded our expectations. Owner, Bob, is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. There was a musician, Chris Douglas, who was impossibly talented and the music volume was not so loud you couldn't have a conversation, but loud enough to appreciate some of those incredible guitar solos. Our friendly server, Jessica, won't soon be forgotten: pleasant, accurate order-taking and and just overall positive vibes. Pretty accessible, but there is one small step/curb to get into the main restaurant door. Added 5 stars for the rooms, but we stayed at the Townhall next door, which is owned by the same folks We will be back!

Jessica was a amazing server! She made the experience! I can't talk about the rooms because I never went up there. And that's why I give it 4 stars because you have to climb stairs all the way up. Yes, the building is old and yes, the building has lots of stories to go with it. However, the food was great. The service was better. I wish my burger came with lettuce tomatoes sauces, but it didn't.But Jessica wouldn't got me some.Thank you. The atmosphere tells a lot of stories. There is only parking on the street. Yes there's a handicap parking spot. There is outside seating which is really nice and they do have a gentleman that plays music. Posted the menu and pictures of the venue for you to take a look at. This is definitely a kid friendly family friendly environment. I love this staff as all dressed up in old pioneer clothing very cool!

Lovely dog friendly inn, in the center of Lead. I loved the vintage decor and historical feel of the place.

Wonderful stay. We were in the Hollaran suite, which is a bedroom, a living room and a private bathroom. It is only one of 2 suites available. We stayed in the fall during the week, and lucked out in booking a suite. You will receive a code for the front door and your suite, touch black part with finger pad to bring up the keypad. There is a shared kitchen area with goodies. The muffins were incredible. The host was very nice and helpful. ...
