We loved the idea of staying in a tiny house in Leadville, but I have to admit the overall experience needs improvement for us to consider a repeat stay. Upon arrival the door code did not work. A few calls to the 800 number resolved this minor issue. Once inside we discovered the main bedding had not been washed and was covered in dog hair and filth. Another call to the 800 number and a member of the team arrived to change the sheets. She was friendly and apologetic and I appreciated her prompt response. Its still a mystery why the bed would have been made with such filthy used linens and it made me concerned a bit about what else had not been properly cleaned and prepped for our arrival. We found a tablet on the refrigerator that was unplugged and had no charge. I plugged this in and discovered it was actually the device was for check-in and information. Unfortunately, the device was set-up for another guest and had their email and information. There are no instructions for using the induction burner or temperature controls. For the burner, most of the 'specific' pans provided are too warped to work. Lastly, the shower was unusable as the temperature control was non-functioning. The only temperature that came out was absolutely scalding hot. Considering this unit was supposed to be one of the 'newest tiny' homes there is much to be improved. There are no hooks or shelves anywhere for storage and the decor is a bit lacking. There is certainly potential for a great experience here, but unfortunately that is not...

Read moreFeeling bored with hotel accommodations? Same hotel chains, same experience, and predictable outcomes? I hear you!! Check out the Tiny House of Leadville for your next vacation. Strong wifi signal, since I had to host dozens of conference Zoom video calls I also loved the location, right off the main road. I enjoyed fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, my own heater and air conditioning unit, and brand new renovated bathrooms. Private, cozy, and very relaxing space. Quite space to think, write, reflect, enjoy outdoors, hike, and just chill. I am staying here for 5 nights, 6 days for a solo road trip and considering bringing my whole family here next time in the summer. Very clean units, each single one has a different design, unique name, and provides a completely new experience to guests. I got to stay in two of them, it was very nice. Highly recommend! Get ready for your...
