I agree with other reviewers in that some rooms are very dated but as a new owner I can say that I have redone all surfaces from floor to ceiling in my rental unit as you can see from the pics. Each unit is individually owned but some units are offered by the complex and others are rented through private routes. I'm very hands on with my unit and wanted to ensure that my guests had the best experience so if you are particular about where you stay then I would suggest looking at sites where owners are offering their units for rent such as airbnb, home away or even here on trip advisor. That way you know exactly what unit you are getting and can communicate with the owner directly. You can read reviews of the exact unit that you will be staying in. I know that I love the hotel for its friendly staff, awesome views and great location. It certainly offers good amenities as well. I love being here! I love this area. I can access multiple trailheads and mountains as well as shops and restaurants so easily. Not to mention that once I'm in the unit it is so peaceful. If you find a unit that is well cared for then you will see what a jewel this place is for the price point. You can't beat the location or views. You just need the right unit for your...
Read moreThis place is very special to me because my family has been going here for over 3 decades. 5 stars for the location alone as it sits directly adjacent to the Pemigawasset river where you can swim and tube down in the nice weather and also provides amazingly peaceful background sound if your door is open.
There is an indoor pool with a jacuzzi and saunas for men and women, some old school arcade games as well as a neat little carnival type game room (skee-ball, hoops, quarter ski slope game, air hockey) that gives tickets for small kids prizes. There is also a heated outdoor pool.
In the winter there is a free shuttle bus that stops in front of The Lodge about every 20 or 25 minutes and runs to Loon Mountain so there is no need to drive if you are doing some skiing.
The place is very well maintained and clean even though it's decor might be a little bit dated and hallways lacking in bright lighting.
There are only a few hotels or condominiums that are on the river side of town, The Lodge being one of them. It's a great place to bring kids or adults in all seasons and the town of Lincoln is only getting bigger and more fun each year with more restaurants and...
Read moreThis place looks beautiful displayed.. but how they treat people is very unprofessional. I started my first day last week.. then got told she would schedule me my schedule over the weekend.. never did.. then decides to wait till monday (today) to text me saying she's just gonna stick with the staff she has.. with that being said staff is expected to sign an agreement with not using your phone and socializing with other workers as work needs to be done.. she as the boss was texting on her phone in the hallways and hanging around with a Houseman in the room we were cleaning going against her own agreement. They also go around taking everyone's tip money and withholding it in the office till the end of the week with No one to truly know how much each room was tipped if they were tipped.. (very sketchy). Just all around unprofessional and a complete joke of a business. Luckily I scored a job that runs a business well and treats their people...
