The store has a really cute vibe, but there's definitely some room for improvement when it comes to their staff. We had this young girl taking our order, and she was a bit off. No "Hi" or any friendly vibe when we ordered, and when I asked if they had chai tea latte, her response was a pretty brusque "No," followed by an odd stare that made me wonder if she was in the mood for an argument. Then, we had a bit of trouble finding a place to sit because the place was packed. We eventually found a table, but we needed an extra chair. So, we asked one of the ladies sitting at a nearby table who seemed to be dealing with thrift clothes, and she just responded with a blunt "No, there are plenty of chairs," in a really snarky tone. It would've been much appreciated if she had offered an alternative solution, like directing us to other chairs or explaining that the ones there were for the staff. So, overall, the store's got a great cozy feel, but they could definitely step up their customer...
Read moreI've been here a few times over the last year when staying in the area & I love it! I usually just get a coffee (iced caramel latte, which is good!) I love the decor, atmosphere & vibe. They have a bunch of free games to "sit +play", books for sale super cheap, & chairs couches space for relaxing lounging enjoying your coffee etc. There's a thrift shop on the other side of the cafe which is pretty cool too! They have a small rack of free clothing to the public which I think is pretty awesome & thoughtful as well! Coffee & thrift?!! What better way to start your day by getting energized with some magical bean water, then popping some tags! Def recommend checking this place out. *Someone put little cards in envelopes at the coffee counter to lift your spirits & spread happiness, I'm all for this! Thank you to whoever does these priceless...
Read moreThe woman working at the coffee bar was extremely rude. No "welcome" "how can I help you" or anything. She just eventually looked at me awkwardly. Seemed annoyed to take my order. As she made drinks, the younger worker came over and were whispering and laughing - certainly gave the impression they were having a laugh at me or other customers. Perhaps not, but doesn't customer service require some professionalism or common courtesy?Didn't even make eye contact or respond when I thanked her for my drink. The drink tasted awful - a waste of $4. The woman that ordered in front of me came back to the counter because her drink wasn't even hot. She offered to microwave it. What coffee joint serving good quality coffee would microwave it? It's a cool shop, but customer service and product at the coffee counter isn't worth the...
