Grand Buffet — Restaurant in Logan

This place used to be really good, now all I see is Mexicans going in and out of the kitchen and apparently they just can't make it the same as the Chinese. Tonight Oct 2nd, 2022 is what forced me to change my review. It's been at 4 stars for a few years, down from 5. We have been getting our orders to go, we walk in and fill up our to go boxes, they weight it and we pay. The last three trips were horrible. Tonight the rice was harder than uncooked rice. The general tsos was dry, chewy, and clearly overcooked to death. They were out of several items. The items they had were very small amounts, we couldn't even get enough of the concrete rice for three of us. The egg rolls were soft and soggy, very oily tasting. We paid $36 dollars and after eating it, if we were there eating I would have walked out. When you go to a buffet you expect hot food and decent portions. Paying $36 dollars I expect good food, this wasn't. I couldn't believe people were there eating after getting home and eating it. There is no way I would have paid for it. I would have taken a few bites and gathered my things and left. This place is only surviving being in the Walmart shopping center. If it were out by itself somewhere alone it would have went under by now. Lancaster has one by carnival foods you can get to from Logan in 20 minutes. Everytime I've went to that one in Lancaster I've been very satisfied. They also have a lot more options. If you can make the drive I recommend it...

The food is OK. My chicken lo mein is very tasty and the sautéed vegetables are just the right amount of crispness. But the lady who answers the phone and takes the orders is horrible. She talks over you the whole time you’re trying to place an order. She missed the chicken lo mein and the two bags of crispy noodles from our last order. Instead of the crispy noodles she sent us cream cheese wontons that work horrendous tasty. So I called back to talk to her and tell her what was missing and she kept on correctly me telling me no, that’s not my order

I told her it’s what I ordered if she didn’t write it down that’s not my problem. Finally she agreed to cook my chicken lo mein and my two orders of crispy noodles. She started to hang up on me and I said wait a minute please how long no answer how long will it take I asked, still no answer. And then she hung up. So I called back and I said listen, I asked you how long will it take for this to be cooked so we can pick it up and you never answered me. And finally she gave me 10 minute time.

Too bad she’s so rude that I am no longer going to order from there. I would rather drive to Nelsonville then have to deal with the woman taking the orders by phone at...

My visit here at the buffet was horrible. The place looked nice but service was pretty cut and dry...the food was disgusting I tried everything to try and find something good but couldn't succeed...I would be embarrassed to charge someone 16 dollars each for the quality of food being served...veggie rolls weren't fresh(insides were mushy) crab ragoons didnt have crab they were just cream cheese. And all the fried chicken used in the recipes were really breaded and chewy, when I ate the steak and peppers the peppers were ok but the steak felt like I was chewing human flesh from someone's cheek, after trying everything i decided to go to the salad bar to get my moneys worth but only to find lettuce shredded cheese a cucumber half boiled eggs onions peppers and 3 kinds of dressings that were empty but ranch.....the best thing served there was the fountain drinks..worst $45 ever spent, I'll...
