This hotel is a good option if your budget isn’t much. The rooms aren’t out of normal but when you visit LA all you want is go out all day. The area looks good during the day but at the night it may looks lonely. Regarding the service, the staff is friendly; there was just one issue. My English was basic, so I needed to explain something about the bathroom to a receptionist. She noticed I struggled in English, so she switched to Spanish, and I could explain in my language. However, when I was leaving and wanted to ask about a fee in Spanish, she refused to respond in Spanish, even though it was clear she could. I don't understand why she changed, but overall, my stay was good.

2.5 stars hotel. Great location. Walking distance to the Dolby Theater and the Walk of Fame. Unsafe area. The hotel door is always locked and you have a pin for entrance door which is hard to see in the dark. Wear your 🤓 . Rooms start from the entry to the hotel. Every inch is used. Very small rooms. If you are claustrophobic, choose another hotel. Our towels and beds were finally changed one time after 3 days. No shower curtain for 3 days, and finally appeared on the 4th day with the clean towels. Have drinking water and ice maker on the first floor, have a laundry room, which is open limited hours only 4pm-10pm.

Look. I'm not going to sugar coat this... the room itself is uber tiny, no elevator, parking is scarce and there are homeless people hanging out and sleeping in the street quite literally under the window of the street side room. The room was, however clean and comfortable - it did is job. I feel for what you get - it's a bit on the pricy side. My biggest gripe was the lack of parking and lack of SAFE locations to park nearby. Staff was polite and helpful when asking questions. Very close to a lot of the Hollywood Boulevard attractions. Stay at your own risk.

It was a fantastic plan for a weekend away to LA from our destination-las vegas-. Our experience it was A WALK OF SHAME!!! We ve reserved a room with booking.com and we had plans to visit hollywood that evening and the following day ( a few reservations made for sunday too). We drove from las vegas to los angeles and we saw things around along the beach and when we thought we were ready for check in at around 6:30 pm nobody was at the front desk; then we decided to look for a parking slot and after getting our head around for an hour we ve parked ( they don t have parking). When we have arrived we have been told that my name is not on the list. At arrival we have been told by the “night manager” that the reservation has not gone through. He gave us his phone to ask Booking.com as it looks it was not the first time when in happens. We ve contacted Booking.com in front of him and we have explained the situation and they even talked in btw themselves manager -booking agent and things got nasty; the manager said it happens all the time blaiming on booking. He has been asked why they took the money from the account if they are fully booked and the manager did not want to listen and hang up on that lady agent. He could not care less he had a list with written name and my booking was made at least 3 days prior to our arrival. I was petrified. He showed no empathy for our situation. The cruel fact where will we sleep …where? On the streets? Not impressed him. We could not find any hotel room in our budget and we drove back to las vegas. Overall It was terrible, disappointing, tiring -we have put out lives at risk for driving nearly 10hours in total and all the plans, bookings for that weekend vanished. It s a disgrace and something like this should never happen to anyone! I would not recommend this hotel and his management it looks they have a “history” of overbooking and leave ppl on the...

Stayed July 31st-August 4th and had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. When we got back to the hotel at 10pm, we realized we had forgotten the room key in the room. We figured it would be no big deal because they have 24 hour security. We called the number on the window and nobody would answer. An hour goes by and we are still locked out so I call their other property in Venice beach and explaining the situation. He told me that the security guard was supposed to be there and he would try to get ahold of him. 30 minutes go by and we still haven’t gotten a call back so I call the Venice beach location and he said he didn’t know where he was.. we asked if there was anything they could do for us and they said no. By this time it is midnight and we were so frustrated so we decided to go across the street and get a hotel at the legend hotel Hollywood and checked back out immediately because they had bed bugs. We had just lost $110 on the room so we decided to sleep in the car (Which was very unsafe considering there was druggies ALL over the streets!!!) until about 6am and then we just waited until somebody got to the hotel to let us back in.. 7:20am comes around and we finally see somebody so we knocked on the door and I asked why nobody had returned my phone calls because I have been calling since 10pm! She was not apologetic AT ALL about nobody getting back to us and said it was not her responsibility that we left our key in the room. I’m sorry but accidents happen!!!! What kind of hotel doesn’t have somebody available 24/7 or at least an emergency phone number?! To make it even worse, it was my birthday!!! I travel all the time and I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Also didn’t get a refund for that night either which is so...
