We booked through ticket at work and regret our decision. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but ended up leaving in the morning. We found cockroaches, there was an alarm going off for 30 plus minutes at 5am and when I called the lobby to ask them to get it turned off, the gentleman kept asking why I asked for a wake up call if I didnt want one. I could not get him to understand it wasn't going off in ny room, it was another room. There were shady people up and down the hall and at the front entrance, all night long knocking on doors. A couple rooms down, kept fighting. I felt so unsafe, didnt sleep more than 3 hours the whole night. Was supposed to do universal the next day, and was so tired, I only made it till about 2 pm. Ended up leaving and finding a hotel where I could feel safe. Motel 6 would not refund, since I booked through tickets at work. She didnt even argue with me about my concerns, she already knew. 100% do not recommend, very unsafe and roaches. I don't typically do reviews but had to for this one. Pictures of a few of the roaches we killed.

Before you book ANY hotel in the Hollywood area, understand that it’s full of crazy people, homeless, and druggies walking around. Avoid going out at night solo and use common sense. It’s a “tourist” area with the walk of fame one block away. This is a noisy hotel inside an old 5 story building with creaky floors, thin walls, and doors that slam shut. The guests are usually there to party, so don’t expect much rest. Rooms have a mini fridge which is nice. WiFi is free. One elevator on site. A great deal for short stays. Parking is very limited! Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby along with the Red Line underground metro train that can take you directly to downtown and union station quickly. The hotel is currently renovating the rooms, ditching the European style “Phoenix” theme, however they got rid of the tables and chairs so there isn’t anywhere to sit other than the bed now. Also, most of the lighting is gone: no more backlight for the TV and no more overhead lighting in the room section. Just tiny light night stand lights.

The experience was horrible there was a fight outside in the front of the property. There was fighting in the room next door to me I couldn’t sleep at all, I got bitten up by what I think it was bed bugs. The general manager was asleep on a couch outside of the property, room cleaning wasn’t done for my full stay, no extra towels was provided to me and my guest. The elevator does not work properly my room bathroom sink was leaking I had to call to the front desk. They sent someone out to fix it took them two hours to fix The Air conditioner, unit was loud every time you turned it on, sound like Bob the builder was in there building, It was an unpleasant experience at this motel. I’ wasn’t able to get any sleep the police was called on the people that was staying next to me. The front of the building there was people out side doing different kind of substances.

Room was perfectly clean with nice modern furniture. Horrible issues with parking! Front desk was not explaining well what is the option for parking. For some reason you are not able to pay parking in advance you need to do it on daily basis? First night staying there I was able to park on handicap parking because I paid when I checked in what I was not realizing that I need to go to front desk in the morning and pay again for second day. When I come back next evening to park around 10 pm security told me that I only paid for one day and I can't park.i went to front desk and asked why I not have parking because I was assuming that I already paid Jose (front desk) told me that he told me yesterday that I need to pay for every day individually? I told him ok let me pay for parking but he told me that everything is full what is not true because All handicap parking spot was available and also few more spots with empty. So i asked him what's I going to do now? And he told me to find a parking spot outside of the motel. 6. So there we go almost 11:00 at night. I was looking for the parking spot with my underage daughter. Just driving around Hollywood boulevard. Trying to find a parking spot. I was have a great luck to find a spot I park and I come back in front desk and ask him for the manager or the manager phone number and he told me that manager is on vacation and I cannot talk with them. After that he told me because I forcing him he will give me a parking spot and I asked him why is the difference between 20 minutes ago and then now why he now have available parking spot and he just repeat that he willing to give me a parking spot because I force him to do so. I told him I don't need your parking spots. I already park and that he's really bad person. I think because he knows that I paid with the credit cards probably he cannot pocket this cash so he was waiting for somebody who going to pay with the cash so he can take this 20 bucks. before I went in the bed I went in the garage to check out if handicap parking was taken and was not was empty. Because Jose I was driving in the night with my child to find a parking spot and I was need to get up in the 7:45 to go and pay the meter where I park my vehicle. Please if you care of all check security cameras from garage on 7/13 and you will see the handicap parking was empty. Any questions please...

We stayed in Motel 6, Hollywood from 2 June to 6 June 2023. This hotel is only about 100 mts away from Hollywood Blvd and the famous Walk of Fame. It’s about 5-10 minutes' walk from a variety of attractions including Dolby Theatre, TCL Theatre, Hollywood Wax Museum and various other museums like Guinness Museum, Hollywood Museum, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum, Capitol Records Building, Madame Tussauds Hollywood, Death Museum etc. Universal Studios Hollywood is 3 miles away.||Reception staff was not at all polite and they just did their duty of checking-in. They were not helpful in any manner and once we understood their behavior, we just avoided them. In fact the guy was very rude. The reception area looked like a mediocre lodge and the property is not well maintained. However, room was clean and was provided with TV, mini refrigerator, telephone, tea/coffee maker, iron box and free Wi-Fi. Bathroom had essential toiletries.||There were loud noises coming from the corridor, even at mid-night. Though bed was comfortable, sleep was not comfortable for the noises coming from outside.||Breakfast is not provided, however, free tea/coffee and a microwave facility is provided in the ground floor. A vending machine for snacks and drinks is kept nearby. There are plenty of eateries and bars not far off in Hollywood Blvd.||Housekeeping is very poor. We made some request, which was never attended. We could see bottles and waste kept near the elevator and in the corridor. Often took the staircase, as we need to wait long time for the very old and slow moving elevator.||There is a self- operated coin laundry, but, it was the most expensive laundry during all my stays in US. They charged $5 for one trip of washing and drying, whereas it was $3 in all other hotels.||Metro station is only about 10 minutes walking distance. The street from Hollywood Blvd to the motel mostly look deserted and it is bit scary, especially in the evenings. You can find lot of drug addicts and homeless hanging around that area.||Despite the price being high, I didn’t have high expectations of this place as Hollywood is expensive and you won’t get a good hotel for this price. However, that is not an excuse for rude behavior of staff and poor maintenance of the property. ||Overall, not happy with the stay and will...
