This place confuses me.
Online, it appeared this place was indoors, but discovered quickly it was outdoors. They do have heat laps, which is great, and throw blankets on some chairs, which I find completely unsanitary.
There are two different menus. One says Hungarian and the other is a regular menu. Upon sitting down, we were only given the Hungarian menu and had to ask for the other. After taking a reasonable amount of time looking at the menu, a man (who I’m assuming is the owner or manager) came over to us and proceeded to explain the entire menu and show us pictures. While we were grateful for the explanation, it goes to show that they’re aware their menu is confusing and needs some elaboration. It was also a tad uncomfortable.
We ordered the goulash, a pasta dish and the Giant Schnitzel. The giant schnitzel is exactly that, giant. It is DELICIOUS—however, it would be fantastic with a sauce. I ordered fries with it instead of potatoes and the fries were completely cold. The cucumber salad was surprisingly delicious, but not what I was expecting. The goulash was average at best and the pasta dish had fantastic sauce, but we added chicken. One thing to note is that there is zero seasoning on anything (fries, chicken, schnitzel).
This place has loads of potential to be great if it really invested in ONE proper menu and an identity. When the owner/manager was explaining the menu, the first thing he said about the Hungarian was to ignore the fact that it said it was Hungarian, which was even more confusing. The food has potential, but could use...

Read moreCame here mid afternoon. Walked into an empty restaurant and saw a sign to go up the stairs. We went up where we told that we shouldn't be up there and the sign shouldn't be there. We went back down, and still have not seen a single employee. It was so confusing. We tried going to the outdoor seating area where someone spotted us and showed us the kiosk indoors where we order (never saw this employee again). Did that and went to sit outside. After about half an hour and not having the appetizer out (note we were the only patrons at the time), I went back in to check on our food because no one had been checking in with us or walking around the outdoor seating area for some time. Our food came out soon after. I had to ask for napkins and silverware!! Silverware was only forks, no knives. The entree salad was small (had a much better and bigger portion at Universal Hollywood), the rest of the food was fine but nothing unique. The really excellent dish was the corn ribs.
It was an odd experience. Like we were an inconvenience to have come in and wanting to order food. At some point while we were outside I did see employees sitting indoors (no one was there when we initially came in), but they were just hanging out. No one checked in on us after our food came out, not even for water refills. You add a tip when you order at the kiosk, so it seems like after that no one is interested in making sure customers have what they need or are having a...
